This book was given to my class mate who has trouble trying to draw fashion, I knew this would be a nice gift for Christmas, thank you very much.

This explained how to draw a croquis which is what I wanted. There was a bit of confusion for me pages 33-39 with the red measuring line in the middle of book. It just did not translate to what was taught - the croquis is measured by head height and the lines just did not match. How to draw all the accessories shown was useful.

An introduction to some famous illustrators and how they each developed their individualized techniques inspires! That is just the beginning, it doesn’t stop there ! It is onward to learn how to create your own croquis, draw and develop your own collection and the entire process from putting together your own mood boards to a range of possible jobs in the fashion industry. I must say that even the “how to draw clothing” section was easy to follow and super relevant to the type of clothes that I would wear and want to learn how to draw. Kids will be drawn to this book because it provides an engrossing array of everything you would want to know. I personally adore the fact that it mentions using different mediums for illustrating to get different effects. This book gets me so excited. Bought for my granddaughter whose current ambition is fashion design. I found it very instructional and she loved it.

I returned this book because there is nothing to its content. I found it a retread of anything I could glen from Google.
