Tasty protein bar
Fabulous bars I’ve never had the birthday cake flavour before and I was very happy with it. Had cute sprinkles on them, soft in the middle and all together rather tasty!😋

A bit hard to chew but an enjoyable flavour

Stone hard, inedible
I bought this before from shop and loved it but this batch from Amazon is inedible, so hard, solid. I tried to cut one in bits with a knife and realised I could not cut the center core at all. Awful.

Great Taste and Great Nutrition.
I have used these to increase my protein and calorie intake and is a great tasting addition to my diet when I need the extra energy, after a long run or heavy gym workout.

New recipe
These, particularly the Birthday Cake flavour used to be one of my favourite protein bars, however, it seems that PhD have changed the recipe. Unfortunately, they've gone from a really good protein bar that tasted like a bit of a treat, to barely Ok and tasting like... well, a protein bar. Gone is the gooey "Jam", different sprinkles, hard middle with that "protein bar" flavour to it. Suspect it's a cost-cutting exercise because there's no way they tried this new recipe with anyone and received feedback that it was better. Birthday cake now tastes the same as Grenade, even the new sprinkles are the same. Real shame.
