Is it true that you have to liscense use of this pedal if you use it in your music

According to the guidelines that came with the pedal, you are granted a non transferable license and the rights to any data produced by the Licensed programs. There seems to be restrictions on the use of the Licensed Software, contained in multiple paragraphs, that I am not clear on. Something to do with Representations and it does mention CDs and other recording medium. To me it seems to restrict the use of the Software code, not the sound that comes out of the pedal (I'm not a lawyer).

Well, if you don’t know about the button then you should have your parents give you “the talk”. :-)

Can you use a bass guitar?

Actually it is better on guitar in the higher note spectrum I noticed on the low spectrum it didn't work as well

Does it work with keyboards? Say, a virtual piano (rland fp30 specifically)? I don't know much about playing guitar.

Probably. Only thing is you can't play chords. It only works one note at a time. And you got to play relatively slowly for the pedal to track your notes.
