I do have the blackberry porsche. It is like a piece of Jewery than been considered as a phone. It is elegant that is just about it. It only add to your status when someone sees you sung it. It is not a phone to be use and abuse. It is just to eleviate your status. Nothing more. If you like it as a jewery then go for it.

This blackberry is the most perfect gift for my brother for this 50th birthday. It is a tad expensive but he "LOVES" owning one, so it is worth the money. For a couple of months, he was totally consumed with it, but he has come back down to earth now :) It is a classy "toy". I may get one for myself.

Phone works and looks sleek. Not much more to be said in favor of a 4 digit price tag...I read in an Article in WIRED magazine explaining the actual direct/labor costs to produce this phone and its HIGH markup for exclusivity. The demand, especially with Blackberry and an out-of-style limited edition phone, doesn't justify paying such an "exclusive price".**For a phone whose material and labor costs are so similarly equivalent to the assembly of the the iPhone 4S or 5, it has to be generously priced at the VERY least half of what these sellers are asking. -hope this helps, it's my job to know all about this!

I love my Porsche Design smartphone. It's beautiful and very elegant. However I would not pay this much for it, I got mine for $1,800 directly from Porsche Design in SoHo. They carry three versions of it and it comes with a warranty and 24 hotline support. Love it.

Apple launched iPhone 5 today. RIM is in trouble already. iPhone 4 and 4S down priced. Not good for anyone.RIM owns BBM. Enterprise users who went stylish with i4 phones figured out how to work around BBM with co-workers.This phone could have staunched the flow, but at this price point I'd be shocked if they sold more than 20 units in the States.At 500 unlocked they'd have done well.....

Seriously... who the hell would pay $2k for a BLACKBERRY? I don't care what kinda cover is on it. It's a blackberry. I'll take my android any day.

low screen resolution, 720p video. slowest phone ever. wonder what blackberry did phone itself looks ugly. its nothing compared with this price. dont buy
