Aladdin Recycled Glass To-Go Tumbler 16oz, Bottle Green

I love this recycled glass tumbler. I've had mine since September last year and I use it nearly every day. It is a thick, sturdy glass that is not easy to break. I've knocked it off my nightstand onto the hardwood floor a few times & it still looks like new. The lid is sometimes a little hard to get threaded and have it go on straight if you try to screw it on. But since it is silicone lined inside it has some give and you can just push it down into place.

This is a really high quality cup! I love the wide straw, much easier to drink from than the narrower Starbucks reusable cup straws. The top just presses on to seal vs. screwing it on - at first I thought it was broken because it wouldn’t screw on, but then I pressed it in and the seal is nice and tight, the lid does not pop off like I worried it might. Also such a pretty clear/pale green glass.

It’s easy to clean and small enough for my iced coffees. The only complaint is that the lid is not secure AT ALL. It just pops on and off very easily.I really wish you could screw it on instead. The first time using it today and I spilled half my coffee because the lid popped off when I tried to grab it from my cup holder. Since it’s not very tall it makes it harder to grab out of the cup holders without taking the lid off and making a mess.It’s cute but not the most practical when you have a baby to carry around and especially for the price.

I was very pleased with this purchase. I like that it's simple and doesn't have any silicone or color on it. I replaced the plastic straw with a glass one, so now the only plastic is the lid. I was surprised to find that the lid does not screw on but rather just pushes down. (Perhaps I missed that in the description.) It doesn't spill if you tip it, but I am wary that the lid might pop off if it gets knocked over. That hasn't happened to me yet though. It would take a bit to knock it over as it's pretty sturdy.

Loved this cup, it was so beautiful... but the lid does not screw on - it is just pressed onto the glass. So on the second day as I was carrying it, the lid slipped off and the cup fell to the tile floor, shattering. Disappointed this glass version of the cup didn't work for me - but I'm very pleased with my older plastic Aladdin cup so will be getting another plastic one in the future.

The top of this cup just pushes on, with no screwing to hold it in place. So early on, I picked up the cup to carry, and the heavy glass cup fell to the floor, filled with ice water. I have purchased many dozens of 'Aladdin' brand plastic cups over the years, and even though they had to be thrown away after many uses due to cracks inside the wall of the plastic, I didn't care - I still had a marvelous cup to take everywhere with me. This glass one doesn't travel well, and with severe arthritis/disfiguration of both hands, it's terrible to hold onto. Please note my assessment of the metal 'Aladdin' cup that I ordered the same day - that one I had to throw into the trash without ever using it. I have loved 'Aladdin' plastic cups for so many years ---- I want them back!!!

I have been looking for the perfect glass tumbler. My main reason for getting one was to drink more water at work. The tumbler seemed to be the best choice because they are so easy to drink out of.I was tempted in purchasing the glass tumbler that Starbucks has but was not crazy about the design. I also do not frequent Starbucks so it seemed silly to have one of their products.The other tumbler I was interested in was the Teavanna glass tumbler but again I did not like seeing that giant logo on the glass.This is where the Aladdin tumbler excelled. Very simple and perfect for me. I have been using it for several days now and it is everything I would want in a tumbler. I also appreciate that it fits in my cup holder.I highly recommend buying this unless you work in the same building as me, I want to be unique.

Product is just as described. The tumblr is glass, and the lid is plastic. I also bought glass smoothie straws and they fit well in the lid. Because it's glass, the tumblr will become slippery when it sweats, so I added a silicone sleeve and it works great.
