I took this to Italy last summer during a scorching heat wave (117 degrees on 07/24/23!). It was really hot and sunny every other day, and this umbrella saved my pasty skin AND dropped the temperature. Other travelers looked at it with envy. It’s a great size and not too heavy. It’s a little hard to close.

Very compactible, color doesnt hurt the eyes. The only downsize is to put it back in place. Must be strong to retract it.

It does its job. It's a bit small but it has completely protected me from the rain. I was also able to use it to cover myself and a child but again this barely works because it is not that big. If I used a bulky backpack it would probably get wet. It feels very sturdy, sturdy enough to not have the wind boxing it around. All in all I'm satisfied with my purchase!

Withstood some gusty winds. A little heavy maybe, for travel. But that might enable it to withstand the wind. I’d buy it again, but I might look for a lighter piece.

I'll admit, the reviews put me off because I didn't want an umbrella that was difficult to close and didn't last in the wind(because most unfortunately, I broke my last umbrella that way). So I've taken lengths to close it when I feel like the wind is too strong and so far it's been good. Gentle breezes don't break it, and even if the wind is a little too strong the umbrella bends a bit then bounces back. It's easy to open but it does require some caution when closing. The button is secure and doesn't feel like it'll break at any time which is great, but if you have long nails you could definitely struggle a bit. I actually chipped a bit of my nail pushing the button to open the umbrella. Otherwise it's really nice, gets the job done and it's lightweight and better than I thought it'd be.

Bought this umbrella because I’ve been outside more due to sports seasons. I try to keep out of the sun but sometimes you can’t. I absolutely love this umbrella! It’s a great size to cover yourself and protect you as well as fold small enough to fit in your backpack, cross body or bag. I have it in white and the inside is black. I don’t really feel the heat coming through the umbrella and absolutely no heat from the rays either. It stays with me all the time! Get yourself one or two!

I like the wind proof style. It pops out upside down in windy conditions without breaking. It's super hard to close

Brought this to Disney World for the sun and loved it. Kept me from getting burned while waiting in lines or for parades.

I bought two of these, I like the black lining (for UV protection). I wish there were more outer colours available, only white offered

I have only opened it in the house but I anticipate it will work as intended when on vacation. Will review again when I have used it.

The umbrella is light, cheap feeling, and not stable. It is flimsy and moves a lot in the wind. The handle is very short, uncomfortable to hold. The fabric is thin. I edited this review a year later to give it an additional star because; well- it’s still working for me and hasn’t fallen apart which is good.Looks very nice. The zipper on the sleeve is a nice touch.
