COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN!!
I read and LOVED Ms Malpas's THIS MAN series, but I honestly think THE ONE NIGHT TRILOGY is even better. I read the three books in a row and really couldn't put them down. And, actually, I was about 100 pages from the end of ONE NIGHT: UNVEILED last night when I was sleepy and went to bed, so I put it aside. When I awoke predawn to use the restroom, I could not get back to sleep for thinking about all the possible climaxes the story could have. I gave up and got up for two hours to finish the book! I did sleep two hours later this morning to make up for it. (There are advantages to being old and retired!)The characters were well-drawn, the plot was well-written, intense, and quite emotional, and the sex was quite STEAMY!Outstanding, Ms Malpas!A hearty recommendation to one and all!AND MAKE SURE YOU WEAR MATCHING SOCKS! love, mystery
Author Jodi Ellen Malpas outdid herself with this captivating trilog in book 3 and riveting conclusion. Bringing suspense to the surface, it is combined with excitement, suspense, jealousy, sex, love, mystery and utter betrayal. It's a must read.....(18+).......Following their escape to New York City, Olivia "Livy" Taylor was amazed with the asphalt jungle but even more amazed by being with the love of her life, Miller "M" Hart. It had been frightening to say the least to escape with their lives and she would do it all over again, if it meant she would be with Miller for the rest of her life but she also knew that the threat wasn't over, and never would be, all because Miller gave up his old life just for her. But the threat was going to be more dangerous than ever when news from home forces them to return and without any notice at all, Livy's past and her deep hidden sins rises to the surface causing even more danger than she ever thought possible. Will Miller still care about her when he discovers the truth, she desperately tried to conceal? Never believing in the notion of love before, Miller couldn't have been further from the truth because for the first time in his entire life, he truly loved Livy but when attempts are made on her life, he not only knows what to do next in order to protect her at all costs but he also knew without a doubt that he would probably die before the night was over. But thinking that he had everything under control, he couldn't have been more wrong because nothing would prepare him for the shocking revelation of Livy's past crashing head-on with his current occupation straight to the core of his own existence. Will love be strong enough to keep them together?.........fantastic trilogy by Miss Malpas.....thank you.....♡♡

LOVED IT! - Worth a read...
I’ve just finished reading the last book of Malpas’ “One Night” trilogy, and I must say; “Well done!” I truly like the male character in this trilogy; Miller Hart. He was a gentle soul compared to Jesse Ward, in “This Man.” While reading “This Man,” I continued to wrestle with my feelings about Jesse Ward’s behavior toward Ava. To me… he was borderline abusive. However, when Miller was introduced… despite his dark lifestyle and OCD issues, and his neediness for love, I found him to be a far cry from Jesse; and much more palatable. While reading the books, I constantly felt sympathy for Miller and truly wanted him to be saved from hell. I love the way Malpas gave her readers so much to think about with all the little twists and turns in the story. She really had me thinking ten steps ahead… and I loved every moment of it.Malpas really hit the nail on the head with her leading man being a deeply troubled and lost soul—living in an inescapable dark world—a living hell on earth, and never having experienced love from the day he was born. My heart ached for this poor man who just wanted to be loved. Before Olivia walked into Miller’s life, he never knew the good and bright side of life… a life filled with love and hope. It was both painful and joyful watching him fall in love and to see the door to the other side of his world open ever so slightly, a crack at a time, bringing in the light and love. It was painful because of the constant uphill battle he fought; and joyful because he learned that even he could obtain love and live in the light. Now, to talk about my rating; I’m giving the trilogy four stars instead of five. The reason being… I was left with questions. For example: Malpas never mentioned what happened to Cassie. The reader is just left hanging, wondering what happened to her. She, like Miller, wanted out of the dark world. There was no mention of her at the end. And, did William and Gracie ever marry… did William continue to live in his dark world as a pimp or did he give it up? Also, I wanted to know more about Miller’s perfect gentlemanly behavior. Where did he learn to behave like the perfect gentleman? Did his pimp send him to school or did Charlie teach him? That question gnawed away at me the entire time I was reading all three books. Well, of course, that’s just me. But, to reiterate my high praises: I LOVED THISTRILOGY!Thank you, Malpas for giving your readers a great story; one which caused us to feel every emotion of joy and pain between these two characters. I am looking forward to your next trilogy!Forever a fan!

Heartbreaking, lots of angst, suspenseful & an amazing love story.
Wow.......just wow! My heart absolutely broke for all that Miller Hart has suffered and endured in his life. I wanted to reach into the book and personally punish the vile people for their heinous acts against him.Livy has so much love for him and was willing to go through Hell and back to give him a chance at happiness and freedom. The ending of the book blew me away and had me right on the edge of my seat! I truly didn’t see it coming! The epilogue in Miller’s POV was a perfect way to end the series.

Glad it’s over
I didn’t like this series nearly as much as the This Man series. I’m not sure what it was exactly about it that I didn’t like. Maybe I didn’t find Miller as believable?I didn’t like all of the strife surrounding Livy. I also didn’t like how we never get some answers as to why Miller became the way he was. There’s only speculation and while I’m sure some people find that interesting but I don’t.If I knew how this would play out I think I’d skip this series. It was just ok for me.

After reading all the five star reviews I feel really mean giving 3 stars
After reading all the five star reviews I feel really mean giving 3 stars but after giving myself time to consider how I really felt about the book I could not give it more than a three star review. Although there were parts when I was really into it and would have given four stars had there been more of them, there was just to many pages that I skipped (I love the way JEM describes her sex scenes very erotic, but in this book it did seem like they was just to many of them and it all got a bit repetitive). Although I connected with Miller and fell in love with him Olivia just did not do it for me she came over as a bit obnoxious and selfish, professing to love Miller but not thinking twice about the danger she was putting him in or the consequences of pushing is buttons, her sass did not amuse me I found it childish; she seemed to allow her sass to come out when as far as I was concerned there was no reason for it. I think perhaps the fact that I could not connect with Olivia and that I felt like there was to much wordage given to the love scenes and the plot was rushed at the end left me disappointed, after all living up to the This Man trilogy takes some doing. I will read more from JEM as this trilogy started well but just did not do it for me at the end.

Miller-tastic!
I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy. I know you could shoot holes into this storyline/these books leaving it looking a colander as well as a third of the length once you remove all the s-x... but I still loved it. Pure and thoroughly enjoyable escapism!!!When I started reading this trilogy I thought there was no way I could love Miller as much as Jesse. By the end of the 1st book I still thought Jesse wore the crown. But now? Wow! Jesse & Miller / Miller & Jesse share that podium!!!

My favourite one of the series!!
Unveiled (One Night, #3) by Jodi Ellen Malpas4 stars!!“Falling in love is easy. Holding onto it is special.”This is the final book in the One Night Trilogy and I have to say it is my favourite one of the bunch. All my questions were answered and I had a happy smile on my face at the end. If you have read my reviews on the previous two books then you will know that this was a series that I have struggled to read. I did manage to read this book in one sitting but once again I did feel that the beginning did drag a little and was a little repetitive. However, the second half of this book is full of action and it is at this part that this book comes into its own.Miller, Miller, Miller…him and “his thing,” it is amazing how finding love can change a person and meeting Livy was definitely his game changer. It is hard to believe that the Miller in this book and that of book one are the same person. He has embraced this new emotion and goes all in and it was beautiful to read. I fell in love with Miller a little more in this instalment and after seeing some his background I began to understand him all the more.“Miller Hart loves you to death.”Livy really comes into her own in this book; she is brave and ballsy and goes all out in this instalment. She is fiercely protective and loyal, not only with her family but especially Miller and in this book, whether he realises it or not, he needs it. Livy also has her own personal problems to deal with and as more family secrets are revealed she has a lot to comprehend.Miller and Livy have a battle on their hands if Miller is to be finally free of his “obligations” and you always knew they were never going to let him leave without a fight. You will find yourselves wondering who is good and who is bad as true colours and secrets are revealed. There are some real surprises! The way in which this part comes to a conclusion had me melting; it is one of my favourite parts of this book.“I love her. I love everything she stands for and I love how much she loves me. It’s more than any of you claim to love me! It’s pure and light. It’s made me feel. It’s made me want more. If any f***er tries to take her away from me, I’ll effing kill them.”One thing is for sure though, JEM is the queen of epilogues, I was MELTING, SWOONING and near to tears reading the final few pages and to say it was beautiful is a severe understatement. JEM always manages to bring me to my knees in these and once again she succeeded.“There is no you anymore, Olivia…There’s only us.”As with any JEM book the writing was stunning, she always manages to weave a tale and bring their story full circle so that you can see their lives wrapped up neatly, like a gift. While I didn’t love this story as much as the This Man series, it was still an enjoyable read, especially this instalment and I personally cannot wait to see what is on JEM’s horizon next.

A brilliant beautiful read
WOW!!!!! I just can't believe what I'm about to say I friggin love Miller yes it's been a slow getting to know you love but I got there OMG he just captured me in this final book and he didn't let go I can't believe the things this incredible man has been through but through all of the darkness Olivia was his light and savour and although I could of slapped her or choked her a few times she became impossible not to love for what she has done but the chaos WOW she is the queen of destruction and chaos that she left behind is incredible.Nan I love her more and more I read can we have her story please she is such a remarkable woman she needs her own story, and I have to say The Little Man stole my heart completely, also Greg and Ben need they're own story too although Ben is an ass but Greg is loveable and sweet and strong so please more don't let this be the last of the Taylor's or Hart'sI Need More!!!!!!!!!I can't write any more cause I'll let to many secrets out if I do but this book is a 24 caret gold gem just like Nan so 24 stars (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)instead of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

mash up love story
Ok I am not the best person to judge the whole trilogy as I actually bought this believing it to be a stand alone novel [ not number 3] and then being on a long plane journey found I had nothing else to read . it passed the time , although I found it was all rather disjointed . We began very much In reflected in you territory ; a luxury hotel suite and a good looking couple expressing their traumas and enjoying sex. then suddenly back in London we were in Martina Cole heavy world and I was expecting the cast of east enders to turn up . then suddenly there was a little spice sex as if a Tiffany Reisz book had previously been read . and then the ending .... Maybe you had to read the first 2 to really enjoy the ending . I was rather hoping for more .
