This adjustable stand is a MUST HAVE! It does away with having to prop up your tablet or phone on a pillow or hold it with one hand while trying to do something on the screen with the other. It is very, very sturdy and can easily hold tablets of all sizes, but it can also hold a phone. Great for kids watching videos in a tent, great for using your tablet in bed, great for an older person with limited ability to hold a tablet for a longer time. Adjusts to all sorts of positions on hard and soft and uneven surfaces. We even used it as a tripod with the tablet on it to take pictures and record video. It is very versatile and I'm happy I have this item. Definitely a great purchase for me!

My wife opened the package before I came home. When I walked in the door she was on the couch and had her iPad strapped on, and was doing a crossword puzzles. She said this was a great product because she doesn't have to look down at her iPad on her lap, and her neck doesn't hurt. Later that evening she took it on the bed and was looking at various websites for some patio furniture. I have to say that after testing it myself, this product is really cool. You can adjust the four legs to accommodate a recliner, couch, or bed. The legs are sturdy and provide a stable work foundation, yet easy to adjust depending on where you want to use it. I think I'll need to buy myself one now....

Very well constructed. Heavy weight to it. The legs are sturdy & can be adjusted to fit the height that is perfect for anyone’s preference whether you place it on a table, recliner, couch, bed, etc. this product is great for holding my iPhone 6 Plus with the protective case/bumper still on. However, I gave this product 4 stars because the space between the gap where you place the devices doesn’t fit my iPad Pro or 2nd generation iPad with the protective covers still on. The space could have been made a half an inch wider to accommodate larger devices like the iPad Pro or other tablets with the protective covers still on without having to remove them first each time I want to use it. It is very inconvenient to have to remove the protective cases from our tablets in order to use this product every time. Warning to everyone: to protect your tablets from getting scratched on this product, be sure you use some type of moleskin or fabric on both sides of your devices before you place them into the space on this product. I still love this product & would recommend it for anyone who wants their hands free to relax & doesn’t want to have to hold your devices in your hands anymore while chilling out on your bed or couch or recliner & risk dropping the devices on your face or body. This product would get a perfect 5 stars if the manufacturers make that space/gap wider to accommodate larger devices without people having to remove the protective covers every time first.

TL;DR: Anytime you need to have your screen elevated and held in place for you, this is the item for you. This handy device has proven to be more helpful than I realized. Your phone, tablet, screen, etc. sits in a half inch slot, and held in place with the rubber strap. If you're not moving around near it, or its in a stationary spot, the strap isn't needed as there is a nice back to the slot that will hold the device upright. I've used the stand to hold up my device on the bed while I stand and do laundry, which is when I discovered this stand is an all-around useful companion to your device. After 6 weeks of using it a have to say I'm really impressed with the stand. I expected the stand to be ok, but soon realized that it's made with quality over quantity in mind. The legs are stiff and easy to adjust. The mount is also adjustable and handy especially when you're lying down on the bed. Only con I can think of is the hook that grabs the phone/tablet could have been about a millimeter or 2 wider. Had a little trouble with my glass screen protector at first but I managed. overall a good product.

I was surprised at the weight f this stand, but in retrospect found it well made, sturdy and solid during use. It arrived the same day I came down with a late case of flu, so I put it to the test. Held my Fire HD and iPad Pro very well and stayed stable even when I moved around on the bed to change position. The strap seems well made and is fully adjustable. If there’s a weak spot it would be the strap, which I would hope Tranesca would have replacements available. Bottom line- great product.

When I first ordered this, I was picturing something like the gorilla-type tripod I've seen advertised. That type of a setup would work well for a cell phone. However, my aging eyes would never watch a movie on my phone. I ordered this after I had a medical procedure that was going to require me to have bedrest for awhile. This with my tablet was perfect! Not only did it securely keep my tablet in the exact position, but I didn't feel like I was weighted down by a cumbersome laptop desk type thing and I could easily make small movements without upsetting the apple cart! I don't know if I will use this moving forward, but I am totally enjoying it during my bedrest! Totally a thumbs up on this one.
