Platypus Avery End For Duck Push Pole
Worked well and attached easily to my Avery Pole. I like that the spring makes it expand wide again, after pulling it out of the mud. I purchased this because I lost my old push pole which sank when it accidentally pulled out of my hand after it stuck into the mud while pushing on it in the marsh.n. Second pole I had lost, since the handle portion fills with water and sinks very fast. I have found a solution to never loosing one again. I went and purchased some "Great Stuff" Insulation Foam in a can, and sprayed it into the top 1/2 portion of the handle . Unfortunately you will not be bable to condense it down to 1/3 the size, but who ever breaks them down once they are assembled, since the pole just lays in your boat like you would a 6 foot paddle or oar. Now I can drop the pole into the water, and the handle portion floats up and is easy to grab. I would recommend that everyone use my little tip to prevent loss. Spread this tip along to your other Duck Hunting Buddies.Dr. C.Wisconsin

Avery Greenhead Gear Marsh Foot Attachment
Nice quality attachment. Spring loaded to the open/spread position all of the time. Fits the Avery Telescopic Push Pole nicely, although the spring loaded buttons on the pole don't stick out very far past the attachment collar. Read in other reviews that this my be a problem, so I immediately drilled and inserted a small #8 stainless steel sheet metal screw thru the collar and into the pole. This, coupled with the two push buttons (on the pole),should eliminate any possibilities of losing the foot when stuck in the mud. I don't plan on using any other attachments on the pole,so fixing it on permanetly shouldn't be a problem. If I change my mind and want to add an extra attachment, its as simple as removing the stainless screw with a screwdriver and going back to using the push buttons on the pole.

Work's great not for stealth
The only thing is the return spring wires don't fully extend the "bills" it's very noisy

Avery Greenhead Gear Marsh Foot Attachment
I purchased the Avery Push Pole and this product accessory to use with it, This will allow me to drive along and move my boat in shallows with out making much noise. this end is bigger than some I've seen and the ends are flared out, rather than roounded which will give a better "grip" on the bottom. This will complete my pole setup with the Avery Paddle attachment for extra diversity in what the package will do for me. Good products and I recomment them to others who are considering the purchase of a push pole.

Works great for fresh water.
Good sturdy unit. Have used this brand in the past. They have lasted a long time in freshwater environments. Would definitely recommend.

Avery marsh foot
It's a push pole head, so there is only so much I can say about it. Here are two things they could do to improve it. Make the spring out of something so it doesnt rot and break in salt water like mine did, and make the hinge or pivot pin the same way so it doesnt rot out so quickly in salt water like they do doen here in southeast louisiana.
