The Lion and the Little Red Bird (Picture Puffins)

My sons art and literature class read this book and so we purchased it. The story is sweet and the illustrations are beautiful.

A big hit with a 3 year old. Will keep on my list for future gifting.

My kids consistantly chose this at the library. The art is beautiful and story is heartwarming. Now purchasing for them to have in their home libraries as they have kids.

This was one of the few books I read to my toddler that I was myself delighted by. The illustrations are gorgeous and interesting, with lots of details to talk about. The story is joyful and intriguing, and I love the lion and the bird's unique friendship.

I love all of Elisa Kleven's books. They are all beautifully written and illustrated. She signed "The Paper Princess" for my daughter at a school book fair many years ago.

Very sweet story, unique and beautiful illustrations... now I just need my little Leo here to read it to (due end of July 2021).

Teaches about friendship and how we can get along despite differences

My granddaughter and I love this story!!This is a replacement book as the first book had fire damage, that is how much we live this book to have another back into her library.

If you love creative stories which your kid can treasure for a lifetime go for it...it will be a gem in your bookshelf.The lion and the little red bird is worth a place in your kids dreams...
