Horribly Written, Cliche-Filled Romantic Pap
I bought this book because I had heard it was absolutely horrible. So, being a connoisseur of bad literature (I did, for the record, made it to page 126 of 50 Shades of Grey), I had to check it out.And to be honest, I was not disappointed.Ravinder Singh is not a writer. Ravinder Singh is what happens when a guy with MS Word and lots of free time decides he wants to learn typing. The story is pulled from stray leitmotifs scattered throughout Bollywood films. The prose is atrociously bad. I've hired freelancers online for $1 per hour who can turn in better prose. Not content writing nightmare inducing prose alone, Ravinder Singh also wants to share his philosophical insights into life within the 200 odd pages that make up this "book".Sample this piece of Confucian wisdom:"We human beings have such a weird nature - while asleep, we hate the person who is trying to wake us up, but once we are awake, we tend to love that same person because he did the right thing".No doubt I must now adopt Shri Ravinder Singh as my spiritual guru. This book is all that is wrong with the Indian publishing industry, the Indian readers, and India in general. It's badly edited, extremely badly written, yet it sells a million copies because Indian readers can't read anything that isn't full of sentimental Bollywoodian pap and requires opening the dictionary from time to time. Ravinder Singh knows this and has built a career exploiting the innate helium-headedness of Indian readers. But to confer on him the title of "writer" - a title people like Amitav Ghosh and Salman Rushdie bear as well - is a huge disservice to not just the writing profession, but to language, ANY language. Please save yourself some agony and stay clear of this book.

Very beautiful yet painful love story
Just one thing - DO NOT READ this book when you are sitting 1000s of miles away from your loved one, you’ll go crazy just like I have gone now! If you’ve ever loved anyone sincerely, this book will penetrate your heart and soul. It’s a very painful story, very painful ...

Superlike for this book and India is getting some seriously talented authors.
Good book... Must read for those who are in love and wants to fall in love... Since this is a real life story of the author himself, description of the incidents will make us imagine as though we are seeing it happen in front of our eyes! Good one for an indian first time author!

a good read.
A smooth story to read....the characters lacked layers in their flesh....but the rendering by the author made it an exciting read from the start to finish..... Some how think the fault in our stars by green had a more layered characters.... Nonetheless.....a good read.

If you're in true love - read this!
This is an extremely sweet, delightful and touchy romantic story. I could relate to it's beginning very much and fell in love with the book instantly. Too bad I was in tears by the end of it. It turned into an emotional roller-coaster by the last quarter and made me feel anxious and thankful to have the love of my life. I am moved that this is a true story and can only pass on my heart felt condolences to Ravin..

My heart went out to the author. His pain felt really raw
One of those books where you dont get the ending you want but still respect the journeys of all the characters.

The simplicity and the authenticity of the story makes it likeable
Teenagers and youngsters in their early 20's will definitely love this book. I found the language too simple, and even a beginner will understand. What would catch the attention of the reader is the simplicity and the honesty with which this book has been written, that makes the reader so gullible to believe the events of the novel. And also the fact that love stories don’t always end with a happy ending. Some of the quotes from the Book:"She Died. I Survived.Because I Survived. I Die Everyday.”“NOT everyone in this world has the fate to cherish the fullest form of love.some are born ,just to experience the abbreviation of it.”“Someday you might be sad, when you might wish to talk to me but i might not able to do so.”“Tere jaane ka asar kuch aisa hua mujh par, tujhe dhoondate dhoondate, maine khud ko paa liya”

Okayy..not as good as I expected for a "best seller"
Finished the entire book within a day. The storyline was basic like any Bollywood love tragedy story nothing unexpected. The writing type was poor, very childlike. Not incredibly impressed but decent quick read.

I'm moved
Ravinder and khushi seemed to be made for each other. I can't imagine what Ravinder felt while writing the book because in the last part, after khushi met an accident, I can't stop my tears.
