Simple to install and ready to use like another wifi usb dongle.
Hi everybody, I've test this product and it do what it supposed to do. Very good transfer rate (about 900mbps) in real life so no more cable when I'm with my laptop in my sofa!! Tested with my netgear x10 7200 AD and my NAS in 2gb LAG.

Wanted fast WiFi AD speeds however real-life results are a bummer!
I wanted a dongle to try to see the viability of WiFi AD for fast wireless data transfers. I have a 10 Gbit home network setup with two mikrotek 16 and 4 port switches and Netgear R9000 triband router. I had tried and failed to use an Intel 18365 and 18360 triband wireless cards with their antennae for wireless networking. Since millitronic has introduced the first such device I decided to take the plunge. On connecting the device the device driver is available on its internal storage. After driver installation and rebooting both the router and pc was able to connect within 2 metre distance at a speed of 3.8 Mbps. Unfortunately this is a theoretical speed. When practically transferring data the speeds are around 20MB per second much lower than my intel9260 card and Netgear A7000 give real life speeds of 60 MB per second on 5 GHz on large file transfers. The other downside is the very small line of site range of 3 meters leading to a unstable connection with the millitronic. Will update if I see better results.Did tests on a different machine reads from 3x4TB RAID 0 NAS partition to NVMe drives is 160 MB per second however the other way round is only 25 MB per second.

Works for short distance but throughput not better than regular 5ghz Wi-Fi in most cases.
I connect from a short distance (-6’) at a very fast speed (3gbits per second). But the throughput is not impressive. My 5g Wi-Fi had a faster file transfer rate. Also this connection drops after a short while and I have to reconnect. If the range were a bit better and you didn’t have to have a line of sight to the Wi-Fi device, it might be practical. This technology is not quite ready for prime time.

Interesting device, needs refinement
Running this with my desktop PC, I can say speeds were good. However, the device did crash a couple times and needed re-plugging the dongle. Maybe it's a driver issue and can be resolved with updates.

Very Disappointing. Don't waste your time or money.
The 60GHz bandwidth of this WiGig product works with my TP-Link Talon AD7200 router. However, I found that the distance must be less than 25 feet and in line of site with the router. It defeats the purpose of even having it.. You might as well use an ethernet cable or wait for better technology to be developed if you need faster speeds.

Good decent speed
Very decent speed with 802.11 ad router. Easy to use good coverage. This is my first mmWave product.

It does work but with some caveats.
I was able to connect to the 60GHz network from my Netgear R9000 and achieve an over 3Gbps strong signal and very high transfer speeds. However, there needs to be a clear line of sight between the receiver and the router. Even the way it's positioned relative to the router maters because of the antenna. This is clearly a technology to be used by devices on the same room with very specific use-cases that require high-speed data transfers. You can see why it didn't take off.Just a note for those who have a Netgear R9000 and are using access restrictions based on MAC address. These do not apply correctly to the 60GHz. I was only able to connect correctly after disabling MAC address filtering.
