Bought to take apart a shower drain that was leaking... It was a little undersize but still worked.. If I was Oakley I would make it a bit larger in diameter ...

This is the tool for the Job. It make tightening of the seal simpler.

Needs modification
Looks ok but will not work for some cases because the bottom of the four legs are round and it won't grab the drain good enough. I had to grind away the fillet to make it square and it worked.

If you have a 2nd floor shower, you need this type of drain wrench
My 2nd floor shower drain assembly separated from the drain body, causing my dining room to flood after 10 years of use. I figured the expansion and contraction of the drain fitting failed from just use. So periodically I tighten this drain connection (from inside the shower) to assure that it stays tight. These wrenches are specific for your drain body so get the right one for your drain.
