Muc-Off Dry Lube: A Lifesaver for My Bike Chain
I recently discovered Muc-Off Dry Lube and it's been a game-changer for my bike maintenance routine. My chain was starting to squeak and feel gritty, but after applying this lube, it's smooth and quiet again. The dry formula is perfect for preventing rust and corrosion, especially in humid conditions. It's also easy to apply and doesn't attract dirt or dust.I highly recommend Muc-Off Dry Lube to any cyclist looking to keep their chain in top condition. It's a small investment for a big improvement in performance.

Excellent lube
I ride in Utah, and dust becomes an issue in the hot summer days. This lube works way better than silicone spray, lasting several long rides before needing to be reapplied. It doesn't attract dirt, and even has a pleasant aroma for what it is worth.

Lubed up
Does a great job at the drivetrain and has a nice scent.

Clean, long nozzle makes it easy to apply, lasts for about 2-3 long 20+ mile rides, smells great.
I have tried a bunch of chain lubes, and honestly I'm still undecided on one and only one, over the years I have tried many brands, so after cleaning my chain from a previous dry lube, I tried this, the applicator is precise and not wasteful, I do the drip every link method which always worked well, this formula comes out white, and I can see it quickly penetrate the rollers quickly, I usually don't even wipe the chain as it's mostly dry to the touch after letting it sit 8 hours (best to apply it a day before a ride or else the carrier solvent won’t have time to evaporate leaving you with a wet chain), it also has a pleasant scent making it nice to work with.So far my drivechain has been very clean, much cleaner then when I used other dry lubes so that's a plus, after a couple 20 mile rides I noticed the chain start to get noisy which is usually an indicator it needs to be lubed again, so I guess that's the drawback of this lube is that it should be applied after every couple of rides, besides for being clean I am unsure how well it protects the components, as it being clean does leave fewer contaminants but how well it's actually lubricating the rollers and other parts is hard to tell in the short term.Overall I recommend it, definitely in my top list of dry lubes, and probably the cleanest one I used so far, I mostly ride in super dry and dusty conditions and often the second rider in a group so lots of additional dust.

Best!
I live in Central Texas and this is the lube I use on my chain all year. The only exception being on one of the four days we get a torrential down pour, then I will use muc off wet. This one however is the best! It goes on easy coats and protects the metal, dries fairly dry I do recommend waiting a couple hours before removing the excess and riding just because you get the maximum protection. Don't believe me just watch the YouTube videos out there pitting different bike chain lubes from expensive to super cheap. Those videos even highlight my favorite part. If I follow the instructions exactly and later ride through typical dusty/sandy/dirt of central texas, this lube lets most of that chain wrecking crap fall right back off while still protecting the metal on metal surfaces from wearing away. Seems magical and too good to be true but it works better than anything else I have found. I still clean my chain frequently in dry weather but I have been able to get away with not cleaning every time. The easiest way for me is to touch the chain and feel/listen for junk between the moving parts. Unless you just cleaned it super well you will almost always feel/hear something but this lube doesn't collect as much junk and just as important, with a little dish soap it comes off easily.I also like that it's more environmentally friendly. The wet lube however takes twice as long to remove when cleaning.Just make sure you read the instructions and don't forget to shake before applying (otherwise some of the good stuff settles at the bottom of the bottle).I even like the odd coconut banana scent***Been over a year and this is still the best bicycle lubricant I've found! I use it for almost everything on my 100lbs long tail cargo ebike, I mention the bike weight because of the extra strain on everything and just FYI this update is 1750 miles later.

best chain lube!
I saw someone test a bunch of chain lubes on you tube and this one was best recommended! I have had a very great experience! It lasts awhile and lubricates well. Also has a pleasant smell I can't quite describe.

Great product. just applied it to chain again today
I live in south Georgia near the Florida Line and ride rough Red Clay roads. I clean my chain with Simple Green and a Park cyclone chain cleaner every other ride. Once every couple of months when I am motivated, I remove the chain and ultrasonically clean it. My usual routes are between 26 and 60 miles and I ride three times a week, often at night. I ride a 1x Gravel bike with a SRAM Force 1 system. My drivetrain gets lots of dirt and muck. The roads can be dry and dusty with 4" of "sugar sand" , or deep with sticky red mud. The red clay roads often have patches of dry sand interspersed with deep muck. This makes for a challenge for lube selection. I've used a number of commercially available products, but have liked the Muc Off Dry lube the best. Usually, the roads are dry, but the weather is quite humid. The muc-off dry lube stays clean and the drive train sings in this instance. if a mild to moderate amount of mud is encountered on the ride, the drivetrain sheds the mud well and does well with the dry lube. Sometimes the only clean area on my bike at the end of a ride like this is the drivetrain. For especially muddy days, riding through pedal deep water, or rides soon after a downpour, I will use the wet lube version with good results. The lube on the drivetrain doesn't look very clean after about 20 miles, but still keeps things humming along when things are truly soupy. I tried Muc-Off this spring after struggling with other brands failing during rides and have become a repeat customer.
