Beautiful story and art!
The first story was unique. I hadn't seen a concept like that yet. I was a little confused by the second story. I think it was a continuation of a previously released work. I am looking forward to the next book.

Gorgeous art and interesting characters
This is a beautiful manga, worth the read for the art alone, although the story and characters are good too. The world and the way that it's depicted reminds me a bit of Miyazaki's Spirited Away and Toei's Mononoke, with intricately designed costumes and detailed backgrounds. Tsukuyomi's eyes are particularly captivating, and I love the way that the little ghouls and fox spirits are drawn. I am waiting with fingers crossed for a second volume.Summary: When Amano was a teenager, his friend Mitsuki led him up a trail, gave him a kiss, then jumped into the sea. As he watched it happen, he could have sworn that he saw a monster rise up to meet the other boy, but no one else would believe him. Years later, he is working at an inn whose patrons include otherworldly spirits, the latest of whom is Tsukuyomi-sama, the King of the Everlasting World. When he arrives, Amano is shocked at the resemblance between their new customer and his old friend Mitsuki. Amano feels drawn to him, but the Spirit King isn't able to stay in the world of humans for long. Amano will have to make the difficult choice whether to stay with what is familiar, or follow Tsukuyomi into the unknown.

Quite interesting
Let's get the fangirling out of my system first: I WANT MORE! I WANT TO READ MORE ABOUT THEIR LIFE TOGETHER! MY FEELS!OK, with that out, let's talk about the story and characters.I admit that I'm a sucker for myths and supernatural stuff, even more so when it has to do with culture, folklore or history. So, the fact that this story has a bit of each is great. The art is a mix of realistic and fantastically mixed components with a touch of historical references. Now, as it was only one volume, I found that it paced itself really well; just a couple of jumps that were confusing for a few seconds, but it cleared away a with no problem.I admit that I experienced mixed feelings when I thought about the outcome of the story, but the author also plays with that, giving hints that not everything is black or white related to the future of the pairing.Just be warned that it has smuty parts, in case that isn't your cup of tea.

Lovely storytelling, wonderful art.
Amano works at an inn where the transient world meets the eternal world on the regular. One day the Moon King comes for a visit and Amano is stunned to find he looks like his childhood friend Mitsuki who fell into the sea and was lost. Omg, this made me cry. Lovely storytelling, wonderful art. Extras at the end featuring the Zhenniao birdman character.

Better than most
Interesting story line. A welcome departure from stereotypical, high schoolstudent/older mentor. Quick paced, easy to follow. Very good art work. Overall , an excellent read.

Beautiful art, bittersweet story
The story between Tsukuyomi and Amano is bittersweet but the art is beautiful. The bonus story between Tsai Hong and Fei is sweet and cute with a little humor. I liked both. Well worth the read.

Beautiful!
First of all, I loved the artwork in this manga, everything was really beautifully done. Secondly, I enjoyed the two stories, especially Midday Moon. It was very romantic and even though it was sad at times the mangaka didn't leave you with a knife to the gut at the end!
