This has everything you need to get started cleaning just about any gun.Depending on what gun you have, the parts may be better or worse. Common calibers like 9mm or 45ACP you are good to go. More obscure things like your FN57 won't be as smooth but are still doable.This has barrel cleaner, but NOT the Hoppes foaming barrel cleaner you see in most youtube videos- you will need to buy that seperately.I would also suggest picking up-Extra patches- I thin the ones in this kit lasted me through cleaning 5-6 handguns before running out-Extra Brushes- depending on how often you clean the brush could get very filthy after just a few guns (I'm looking at you Dad) and if you are OCD like me you will want to pickup one of the cheap 5-10 brush packs-Gun Butter/some other lubricant- the lube in here they tell you to use to clean/wipe everything down so even though it seems like a big bottle/you don't use much at a time it goes quick. I would also say its a bit to viscous for the slide- the instructions tell you to set the slide up and let the lubricant drip down all the way- most of it runs off/doesn't stick very well. The gun will still work fine but it won't have that silk smooth 2011 feel other lubes give you

Comes with an awesome variety of brushes and cleaning supplies (happy that it includes two bottles of cleaner!), but the hard case it comes in is really flimsy. I opened the case and all the brushes and cleaning tips were all over the place. The plastic inserts for the pieces don’t hold anything in place. A wrapping Velcro case would be a much better option and with less footprint. The cleaning kit does what I need and does it well though, so it’s still worth a buy.

Some of the items did not stay where the should. Everything seems to move when you go from flat surface and grab the handle and go vertical. Just have to sort through things to get the item you need at the moment.Still love how well Hoppes products work so well!

I think its worth the money.

I gave this a 4 simply because comes with no guidance on best ways to use, sizes not marked good, even how to use square patches, if it for beginners. Otherwise has everything you need for cleaning almost any gun and a trusted name in oil and cleaner, but even with that would have been better with more controllable oil dispenser.

Terrible. Hoppes used to mean "the best". Now, based on the quality of this kit, Hoppes means "mediocre". All of the myriad small parts are loose in the case instead of being held snuggly in their slots like a normal high quality gun cleaning kit. Ridiculous. Then, when I tried to return it, with pictures, I was advised "This is not a returnable item".So my fellow firearms friends, if it says Hoppes move on to the next item, which will almost certainly be of higher quality at a lower price. Don't find out the hard way and be stuck with something you can't return.

Great kit. Dose all my guns and comes with both cleaning and oil.

After purchasing this kit, you really don’t need anything else except for oil down the line
