Pretty color, does its job. Good price
Great product, good price. Lovely color, makes it stand out from all my black/silver pens. As described in product description, doesn't include the two AAA batteries or have any document or instructions on how to put them in (put them in positive sides down, you'll see the screw on top has the spring that should be in contact with the negative side of the top second battery. I get the impression it might get scratched easily, there was a pinpoint silver mark were the blue had come off but so far with over a weeks worth of use and being smooshed in my white coat pocket with metal instruments and pens and a pocket knife, I haven't been able to make any additional marks in the finish.2/22/2015: Update, have removed a star now that i've had it a second week. 1) the button is frequently engaged just being in a pocket or bag and it ended up being on for a day in my bag and batteries were killed when I actually needed it and went to grab it. 2) the finish has ended up be a disaster. The white paint making up the ruler and pupil sizes etc is now almost completely rubbed/scratched off. The blue is intact. But the ruler was very useful to me and now its unusable. I don't care so much about pupil sizes as my patients aren't humans but this has definitely turned into a bummer and now I have to constantly check that it hasn't accidently turned on in my pocket.

Requires manipulation to work
I bought this for work. As a nurse, I use penlights daily. I figured a reusable penlight would be best. At first this worked great. The only thing I didn't like, was that the pen would turn on in my purse after work, and then the batteries would die before my next shift. I figured a way around that, just unscrew the end part way and then there was no issue. The light is very bright, which is fine. However, now the light doesn't always turn on. The inner workings must not be configured the best because now in order to use it, I have to manipulate the actual bulb on the tip of the pen to get the light to turn on, even then I have to continue manipulating it until it says on, otherwise it only flickers on and then right back off. I thought the issue might be because the other end that screws on/off to replace batteries wasn't tight enough, but it was. This is a major flaw with the product.

I thought they would be good flashlights and last a while from their description
I bought each of my grandsons one of these flashlights. I thought they would be good flashlights and last a while from their description. The green one didn't last a day. The spring that helps turn on the light fell apart, He was so disappointed. The next day the blue also had trouble turning on. From their description you would think they would work. So I have 2 broken pens and very upset grandsons. Also I lost money on the deal too.

Decent penlight.
I wanted to use this penlight for assessing pupils. The problem with the penlight is the bulb is crooked or something. When pointing the light straight, the circumference of the light is more of an oval instead of a circle. So it's going to take some time getting used to pointing the light at the eyes without blinding them.I do like that it's an LED penlight and I don't have to dispose of it.

Perfect for the student nurse
I ordered this when our clinical instructor told us to always carry two penlights just in case. Also, I prefer a penlight with replaceable batteries.

Good quality pen light
Good quality pen light. does lack the one-touch on feature of even the basic disposable lights using the clip. aluminium body is nice but over all feels cheap. light is decent.

Bought this for nursing school, worked well out of the package. Dropped it into my back pack and didn't use for over a month. First time I used it the light flickered and all the markings had begun rubbing off.
