4711Eau De Cologne, 10.1 Ounce

I love the smell of 4711. It's weird though, because when it is on your skin you can barely smell it, which for me is sort of a problem - I want to smell it! - but I'm sure it's a bonus for those around me.

It is fresh and crisp and a little lemony which I really like and this has been around since the seventies when I was in high school.Before finding it here, the last bottle I had purchased was in Cologne Germany.

It's a cologne my wife loves to have it handy, both at home as well when on the road. With this rather large bottle, she can refill in smaller ones

Love the smell of this product! Sometimes I want to smell nice not like perfume. I have been told I smell fresh or like a lemon drop candy. The scent is just right, not to strong and it stays on without having to reapply.

I was intrigued when first learned about this fragrance, so ordered a bottle. Amazing that something dating to the 1790s is still being produced. I can't speak to its authenticity, but all indications are it's basically the original formula that's been in production for more than two centuries. It is a little more "feminine" than one might expect for a man's fragrance day, but not overly so, and certainly crisp and appropriate for warm weather. As others have noted, the primary drawback is minimal projection and less than stellar longevity. However, not a dealbreaker, just purchase some small atomizer bottles, and carry it with you (the bottle I purchased is a splash bottle). For the price, I find it to be a relatively sophisticated fragrance, though I am by no means an expert. It's interesting to wear a fragrance that Napoleon might recognize.

My sister told me about this and I am so glad she did. I love it. It smells great and is not overpowering. Super affordable. Would make a great gift. I love the history of this perfume. Check it out. So worth it!!!

I used to use after-shaves that burned my nicks from shaving, and smelled STRONG. 4711 feels very goodon my face. It has a pleasant, mildly citrusy odor, and doesn't burn. I've been using it since 1964, and have no desire to change.

Bought this without ever smelling it before. Reminds me of a refreshing day at a barbershop and/or tattoo studio vibe. Like if witch hazel’s dad was getting a fresh buzz cut. I love it. Wish it would last longer. Just going to have to buy another bottle for home & work to refresh when needed. This is not something I smell on others in my day to day. So it doesn’t feel like a trendy clone of everything out there. It’s classic.
