Terrific little burr grinder.
Out of the box, this grinder performs beautifully with easy to use controls for setting the fineness of the grind and the duration time of grinding. I found that the 10 second setting is just about perfect for filling up my 51mm espresso portafilter for a double-shot. The grinder is far quieter than the two Cuisinart grinders I have (I have a serious coffee habit - one for decaf (drip), one for regular (drip), and now, this little grinder for my espresso grind. And - it's true, this grinder - with the built-in ionizer - really does grind the coffee into the plastic receptacle bin without the grounds becoming charged and sticking to the sides of the bin. In fact, the bin is easy to empty because the grounds aren't charged, and the walls of the bin were *clean* of grounds after the first grind. Amazing.

Quality build, consistent grind, easy clean.
I really appreciate the air cleaning device which is basically a bellows that effectively clears the fine grind partials out of the grinder during and after the grind process.Didn’t know I needed it but now won’t do without it. I searched for other grinders with this feature and couldn’t find any. If this company has a Patent on this, good for them because this feature is golden. Very well made and easy to use. Just the right size for my home use.Grind size is uniform and completely variable.

A (not so) perfect grinder
I really liked this grinder (5 star review), until it stopped working after a week. Now nothing happens when I push the start button, though sometimes the motor will lurch a bit, like it's trying to run but can't. I cleaned it out and it ran fine empty, but as soon as I added beans in the hopper then the same thing happened. I can usually get it to run after pushing the button 10-15 times or so. I'm returning the unit for a refund.

That darn on/off switch!
I really wanted to like this coffee bean grinder. I found the anti-static properties to be valid and not just marketing hype. With a slight tap to the canister, I could see no ground coffee remaining when dumping it into my coffee maker. The noise level is definitely less than the Cuisinart grinders I've used for the past few years, though it takes about 4 times as long for all the coffee to grind. The variety of settings for grind quality and duration are adequate for my needs. The deal breaker for me is the on/off switch. I don't recall it being an issue initially, but I found that over a week's use it took more and more presses to actually start grinding. Once it starts grinding and runs for a half minute or so, I can stop and restart with no delay. But getting it to start, even with no beans in the hopper, began to require so many presses that it became unbearable. I actually counted the last time and got to 183 presses before the grinder started! I stopped it immediately, added beans to the hopper, and pressed the on/off switch another 25+ times before it ground my coffee. So, I'm returning this grinder today. My hope is that this particular unit is simply a lemon, and I'm ordering another one to give Sowtech another try. If I don't have any issues with a second one, I'll happily update my review to 5 stars.Okay, this is my updated review after returning the last unit and allowing Amazon to send me a replacement. I've had it for about 3 weeks and it's working like a champ! I'm having no issues at all with the on/off switch, it works every time I press it. I typically grind 8 scoops of coffee beans at a time, and I set it to run 50 seconds. I often see a few beans that don't feed into the grinder, and I generally bump the machine a little to get them to drop in. Sometimes, I have to hit the on/off switch to get these last few beans ground, but that's a nit with a well working switch. Other than that, the grinder's working the way I want it to and have upped my rating to 5 stars.

Third time the charm...
this is the quietest & BEST coffee grinder I have ever owned, especially the other 2 I returned to Amazon. It also has an incredible amount of adjustments for grind and grind time. Coolest feature is the dust/static eliminator. I've had professional grinders down to $17 blade units. This one is the ONLY unit that doesn't get coffee grounds everywhere.Highly recommended. Only reason for not giving the 5th star is I have only used it twice , but hope it lasts a long time.

Looks nice worked good once
Worked great the one time that I used it but don’t drink a lot of coffee so it has been about a month since I used it and now it won’t come on. I tried several outlets in my kitchen and other appliances work but this one simply won’t come on. I took it apart and cleaned it thinking maybe it had a coffee bean stuck and still can’t get it to come on. Not pleased with this at all and of course since it’s been past a month I can’t return it.
