The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Okay I have been using it for almost two months now. General Performance wise I have no complaints. Boots up in seconds and is super fast for day to day tasks like web browsing, Video streaming, emails etc.I use it for music production with FL Studio and various third party plugins and no matter how heavy the project is, there are absolutely no complaints. Now for the gaming part, 90% of the games I played in it there were no issues in High/Ultra settings and 1080p (The latest CODs, Mass Effect Andromeda, Battlefield 1 etc). PUBG will stutter at highest settings so I recommend 720p with medium settings for a lag free performance.I would recommend a cooling pad while using the laptop for gaming as it gets pretty hot and thermal throttling could be an issue here if you are not using it on adequate surfaces (for example if you like playing on your bed). I use an external monitor and gaming set while at home so it’s easy to just dock it to a cooling pad. If you are playing directly on the laptop using the laptop keyboard, Play around with pad adjustments until you find a position that is ergonomically suitable for you.Battery life is average at best during gaming. I could play just about 2 full rounds of CODBO4 in the highest settings at 1080p and 3.5 rounds of PUBG in Medium settings at 720p before the low battery mode kicked in at 20%. Though to be honest I never use my laptops on battery while heavy usage and always carry my adapter around wherever I go.On the other hand, battery backup was pretty decent while streaming videos or other day to day tasks. You can easily watch 2 full movies at 80% brightness and still have some juice left before it reaches 20%.All in all, this is a good machine at a really good price, especially for Intermediate gamers like me. If you are a Pro gamer, then HP Omen series are what you should be looking at instead of this.

An honest review
Overall this laptop is a beast... Most of the thing is veey good in this laptop... All the gaming specs are in this one... But though there are some cons in this laptopPros - laptop is a beast.. awesome performance... Good space battery life is also good.. i play COD warzone in 144fps without any lag which easily can tell this laptop is a go.Cons - now please read this before you buy.. its centre hinged that means its delicate you have to keep it very nicely pakaging of this laptop is very basic because it is just a different version of HP's Omen and no bill was inside the box.. so after receiving the package please download the bill and warrenty from my orders section on amazon

Probably the best premium laptop under 90 k
This product is awesome, if u get the delivery right way, I got mine today and have tried almost all the games popular also works fine with autocad , but u will have to upgrade the ram to 16 GB your self,Great gaming laptop except Fortnite , you can crank the game to its highest and have fun,Considering gaming laptop's battery life , this is good as far as a high performance laptop goes , oven on full settings it give around 4.5 hrs of juice,If u tweak some settings then u can get 6to7 hrs easily. Total value for money, the processor is 4th most powerful in the consume core series market,And is not that thick either, the design is stunning and the exhaust is just like a Lamborghini AventadorJust go for it

Best laptop for an affordable price! Just go for it!
This is one of the best laptops from HP for an affordable price. Literally, the specs are what their should be in a similar priced laptop.Screen colours are great! 144hz refresh rate makes the screen and content look really amazing! CPU is amazingly fast! RAM is fine, I upgraded it to 16GB by myself. GPU is a beast! Cooling is at par as well. Speakers are fantastic!Having an Nvme SSD also makes the operating system boot time fairly less and application loading speed incredibly fast. RGB Keyboard is great! I wished there were more RGB colours than just purple.Rest, battery life is about 3-4hrs on normal use and 1-2 hrs on heavy usage.Build quality is great! However the material does gets dark if any kind of sweat or liquid is poured on it. I recommend laminating the keyboard and the outer body to retain better looks. Rest all great!Just go for it!P.S: There's a similar laptop with 120hz screen and GTX1660ti from Acer. I would prefer this over that one because HP laptops screens are far more better than Acer one's and this is an IPS screen instead of a TN panel used in Acer one which gives poor colours.

Good but really annoying
It's a good laptop, and I purchased it for doing my architecture works. Rendering works fine and basic software like AutoCAD, SketchUp and V-ray work smoothly. Thought the laptop gets heated up during heavy tasks but gets the job done with ease. But since nothing is made perfect so this one also has its pros and cons.1) the most annoying thing is the backlit keyboard. Its lights turn off automatically after 15 seconds if you stop using the keyboard. It turns back on after pressing a key, but there's no setting whatsoever to change that. It is by far the most annoying thing in this lapi and there's absolutely nothing you can do about that.2) the laptop gets heated up during heavy tasks like rendering or gaming but gets the job done in the smoothest way.3) I don't know what's the point of giving such a sexy looking mesh for sound output when you can't install descent speakers in the device. the sound quality is really bad compared to the kind of machine you're planning on buying.but the laptop is good in terms of performance, display, design, and hinges. Yes, since it got centrally places hinges instead of regular ones. The hinges are sturdy and should work fine if you always try opening your screen from the center. In case you're confused between dell G3 and HP Pavillion, just google hinge problems in dell g3 and it'll clear your confusion.
