Calico Critters Red Roof Country Home - Dollhouse Playset with Figures, Furniture and Accessories for Ages 3+

This is my first Calico purchase and I can see why the brand is so loved--this is a quality plastic set. The lovely detailing on the house and on the furniture/household items is eye satisfying. The selection given is easily enough to start 'play'. And the two figures are adorable. Assuming you have taught your kid how to properly play with toys and how to responsibly take care of them, this dollhouse set will last to be passed down. I really feel that I got a good investment here--no cheap crap landfill in a week stuff. Plus, with the other Red Roof buildings, the ability to really expand the house boosts the playability. Am very pleased with my first dollhouse since Fisher Price. Love it already.

I got this lovely house for my niece she collects all of this adorable little things and we received it and absolutely fell in love with it it is so easy to assemble she did it all by herself. And she is very happy and enjoying her new toy house

Super cute house! My daughter loves all of the different ways she can configure the layout. The accessories that come with it are super cute. I did take the smallest pieces to give to her when she is older.

My 3 yr old granddaughter loves to play with this house and it's characters. It has lots of rooms, balcony, and opens wide to create space for more play and easy access for the little girls to move stuff from room to room. The accessories are really tiny so have a zip up bag or container for those loose pieces to store so they don't get vacuumed up. It folds up to store easily too til her next visit.

This doll house was easy to assemble, it's sturdy, and super cute!! The lights are such a nice touch. And the detailing is really nice. I think it was worth the money I paid.The only problem I have is that (3) of the (small) railing pieces were missing when I unpacked everything. It would be really great if the Calico Critter people would send them to me! I'm not going to send back the whole house for the small pieces and yet I paid for everything to be in the box. So if anyone is reading this who's in charge of customer service, you could make one customer very happy by sending those three little pieces that I paid for.I really love my little house, so thank you!

Overall my toddler loves this set. She has a great time playing with this house. She likes that she can rearrange it to her liking. However I think it's too expensive.Pro: the house is super easy to assemble. A toddler can do this with no problem.Cons: the lights that are supposed to attach don't stay on.2. The windows come off very easily.3. The front door stoop doesn't stay on.4. The attachments slide very easily so nothing stays in place long. You have to constantly reassemble the house and parts during play.5. The food accessories are so tiny and poorly made. We couldn't detach the fork and spoon without breaking one of each because they were so hard to remove from the attachment they came on.I thought for the price we would receive so much more. This is probably a $40 house.Unfortunately I'll have to purchase more because my daughter likes the concept of this brand toys.

This is really good quality and well worth the price I paid for it. I had gotten a really cute house from a similar brand, Sunny Days Entertainment Honey Bee Acres from Walmart the Christmas before last that ended up being complete junk for $50. I paid just a few dollars more for this Calico Critters house this Christmas on a deal. I'm so glad I did because my daughter loves it. So much more wholesome and age appropriate than many toys these days too.

This is a really cute doll house for the Calico critters (although it would work for other shorter dolls). It is easy to assemble as my 8 year old granddaughter assembled most of it by herself. It has 4 rooms and a stairway. The outside of the house has a balcony, with french doors that open to the house. It comes with basic furniture. My favorite furniture was a little desk with little papers and tiny pens. The 8 year old was thrilled with it. There are tiny lights you install that have batteries to light them up. You can buy more lights as an option.My 2 year old granddaughter also played with it and enjoyed it. However, there are some really tiny pieces with the set, and with a toddler you would have to hold those until the child was older due to choking hazard.
