A suprisingly good mobile device head mount for the price
I spent a lot of time comparing these head mounts here on Amazon - there's a lot of price spread between these things & in my opinion, this one offers the best value.by far. The one thing this product does not have is the magnet slide some of the other products have - this really isn't a big deal - all you have to do is take a magnet and tap it to the top side of your device while it's in this mount - provided your device has the correct sensor, a hand-held magnet will trigger it when needed. Despite not having the magnet, it does have focus-able lenses which will also slide side to side to accommodate pupillary distance. For the price (compared to other like products on Amazon), this is easily a five-star item except for a few things...1) This is going to be uncomfortable on your nose after about 5 minutes of wearing this. This may be a problem for some people.2) To clamp a phone down securely, you're going to end up pushing any side power/volume buttons on the device - after playing around with it a bit, most people should be able to figure out how much pressure to put on the mount to avoid this somewhat.3) Inside the part that clamps down the phone, there's some rubber strips there to give some grip to the mount - these are going to peel off & break as you slide a device in & out a few times.Despite these issues, I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable introduction to mobile VR. Despite this being on the "cheaper" end of these things, I don't know that any of the mounts that cost twice as much would offer a whole lot more than this one does. I plan on ordering a second one of these in the near future.

Not bad...Needed some extra padding.
Of the 'cardboard' type displays this is probably one of the best I've tried. I have built my own out of actual cardboard, bought some made from foam material, etc. but the Simple VR Colorcross is the best without going the much more expensive setups. There are a few problems I've had with the setup:1. I do not have a small nose. I think this was designed for people with smaller features. The plastic of of the nose cutout rests directly on the bridge of my nose, which is quite uncomfortable, and will scratch/cut.2. The lens adjustment isn't as stiff as I would like. Sometimes when you take them off your IPD distance will just change.3. I had to put a bit of extra foam on the bottom edge as the angle seemed incorrect for my face (maybe my brow ridge is larger then what this is designed for too).Features I like:1. Good headstrap2. Adjustable IPD (my pupils are 72mm apart)3. Lenses are not bad4. Build pretty well (unlike a few of my foam & cardboard versions).

I like it. It does what it's suppose to but ...
I like it. It does what it's suppose to but then again so do the cardboard cut out goggles and these are 3 times more. Obviously they're more, because they're made out of better material, right? Not really. It doesn't have the magnet toggle switch that the cardboard one's do, and it's a cheap hard plastic. Also like others have mentioned the part where your nose goes is jagged and sharp and digs into your nose leaving a mark which stays all day. Once you put a small piece of fabric between it and your nose, it's really comfortable though.Like I said, it's okay and it does what it says, but it's not an upgrade from the cardboard ones and doesn't even have the magnet so is it really an upgrade?I would save my money until better models start being released and just get the cardboards until then.

Max size fit.. 16.5 x 8.5 centimeters..How??
Max size fit.. 16.5 x 8.5 centimeters. How?? I have a samsung galaxy note 3 and it does not seem to be fitting without a decent amount of the screen sticking out the side.. Do I have to chop some of the plastic off to get it to fit? Or is this just blatant mist advertisement.. Product did not come with any instructions whatsoever.. update...3/16/15...after modifying it by chopping off some of the plastic with my Dremel the phone fits.. but not the most secure.. I had to use rubber bands to make it more secure.Without chopping the plastic there was no possible way to make the phone center.. I have a galaxy note 3.. One of the other reviews I read on this product stated that they were using a galaxy note 4.. I wonder how he got his phone to fit? maybe I was doing something wrong all along but once again it came with zero directions..So 16.5 x 8.5... really... thank goodness for my dremel...

Decent. Good optics.
Works as advertised. Lenses are good quality. However, there is a terrible smell to these. Tried wiping it down (I think it's the rubber that is outgassing). Keeping it a few days and we'll see if the smell subsists as otherwise can't use them. Also, be sure to note that there is no magnet included with these which is needed for Google's demos.Update: After wiping it down and letting it air out it's now tolerable. Recommend you wash these when you get them. Overall a decent way to experience what VR is about for little money.

but as this works like cardboard with the advantage of the headmount and adjustable ...
Knowing what I was getting into with the cardboard having a vr unit that is hands free leaving me to Bluetooth a controller makes for a greater range of experiences, but as this works like cardboard with the advantage of the headmount and adjustable phone ount it does lack the magnet system. I was able to rig one up with some superglue and another cardboard kit. The nose piece could also use some padding but if you want a more durable and feature filled version of cardboard you could do worse.

works very well
This thing works great with acutel 3d movies, it's the only way to get the 3d effects, now with that being said the 2d movies look great as well and the cardboard app with head tracking work very well with it , it fits my note 4 and I don't worry about it coming out. The only reason I did not give it a five is because the nose peace is very uncomfortable.

Wonderful, except for eyeglasses wearers.
It's nicely adjustable for lens spacing and individual lens focusing. The only reason I didn't give it a full five stars was that I wear eyeglasses, and there's no side slots for my eyeglass frame earpieces to go. The adjustable lens focusing may overcome my need to even wear glasses while using it, I haven't used it enough, yet, to tell. Other than that one issue it's nearly perfect.
