I have a 2005 Nissan Frontier. I checked to make sure this product would work as the one I had in the truck had a broken grommet. This barely holds it in the hole. You actually have to be more careful raising the rod up now, than when there was the old broken grommet. It fits in the hole just fine, but it does not hold the hood prop stick in the hole well.
