Finally printing labels off Iphone! Happy Day!
I am ecstatic! I ship daily and was tired of cut and tape. I have tried 3 other printers. Rollo, Zebra and Jaiden. I could not get any of them to easily print off of my Iphone. I tried everything. I would have to save and then print and then go back and delete the file. It was a pain so I gave up. But then a busy weekend hit and my run of the mill printer went on the blink. I had to save qr codes and wait in line for them to process at the post office. I can't waste that much time daily and really not good for the customers behind me. I thought there has to be a way! So I tried the brother. The instructions are super confusing. Do this for wired don't do that for bluetooth. After a frustrating time I decided to wait till the next day with a fresh brain. This is not my forte but I was determined. Silly me thought I could plug and go. No! After thinking about it I knew it couldn't just pick up a wifi signal because of a password. I needed it wireless because there is NO room for a desk & laptop in this space. It had to work off phone. Just plugging it in the phone was not picking up the printer as an option. I figured it needed a go between for wifi and password. I downloaded the driver on my computer in the other room and choose to do so wirelessly just to make sure it was all going to be wireless. Brother-USA Support dowload driver. It took a while and it looks like it's not doing anything but patience. In less than 5 min it was all downloaded. I thought for sure it was not going to work, but iphone recognized it, no hassle and printed perfectly on first go. I never could get the scale right on the other printers. It was postage stamp size or only showed a partial label. The Brother QL1110NWBC printed 4X6 properly and looks great. Very happy camper!

Awesome printer, using it for Poshmark mail labels
Before someone told us about 'Thermal Printers' we were printing on old 8.5x11 paper and taping the labels to the packages. When someone told us about 'Rollo'... I know i wanted one... no ink?? ever?? wow, what a great idea. Later found out that these have been around for a while now and thinking about it, my Ptouch brother machine has to be thermal because i never change the ink on it, just the paper reel... but I didn't know of an affordable kind for anyone... well, Rollo was going to be ours... until... we found out there's no WiFi or Blutooth!!! what?? 2020 and the Rollo design is set to 2010 when Iphones were still sort of new?? So, i looked around and found this one. A bit pricey, but it has Wifi and BluTooth. So easy. My wife sells alot on Poshmark and does her whole business on her iphone. going to a printer or having a laptop around to use the Rollo wasn't feasible, so with this Brother machine.... hooked up to a switched outlet... We turn on the outlet within seconds the brother printer joins the network and she can print labels from her phone to the printer. The labels come out very quickly and stick very well to any type of package. Our only complaint is the cost of the labels, therefore we found an alternative even though the quality of the labels is inferior... but who cares!! it's going to be discarded later on... But the printer is great. Highly recommended. 3rd party labels do work, so don't get discouraged by the cost of the labels there are alternatives out there. if for some reason your 3rd party labels don't work, just take apart the stock roll cartridge and re use it with the no name labels. Yes, it comes apart with a bit of force... it's glued together.

Fast high quality labels
I've got a small business selling items I make. For a few years I've been printing shipping labels onto plain paper and taping them onto the boxes I shipped. I finally decided to bit the bullet and buy a dedicated shipping label printer. The first one I bought was an inexpensive Bluetooth one (not Brother) that I couldn't get to work at all. I'm pretty tech savvy so that was a big disappointment. I finally decided to try again with this substantially more expensive Brother label printer and I'm really glad I did. Setting it up and connecting it to my network was quick and easy. The labels print quickly and are very high quality. The only negative I've got is that setting up some functions of the printer requires me to plug it directly into my computer via a USB cable. I'd really prefer if I could do that wirelessly. Despite that niggle I'm very pleased with this printer and I wish I'd bought it years ago. It's worth the relatively high price.
