Much better quality sound and build than the reject ones that come stock in Durango RTs.

The sound is great and that is what I expected from Pioneer. No amplifier yet because I like to break my speakers in for a month first. I’m sure they will sound just as good when I do.

I wish I could say good things about these as I am a fan of Pioneer, but unfortunately I can't. The surround on one of them deformed within a month of being installed and it did affect the sound quality. The speaker would distort and crackle depending on the song and bass note. This happened on a base 276 watt Alpine system in a Challenger. The speakers only get 45 watts each. Of course it's past the return window, so looks like I'm out the cash on this ...

These replaced the stock speakers in my 2017 explorer and I have only replaced the driver side and it is amazing. Stock power from the head unit it's the basic audio package. I'm sure when I get more power they will be even better. The lows are nice for being a 6x9

This worries me. Could you tell me if these details on the product (excess glue or ripples along the glue line) could short-term decrease the sound quality in my car, because it's not possible to buy something that doesn't meet sound quality standards, especially for a short time. I haven't installed them yet until I've confirmed that there's a guarantee that the product won't be damaged.
