Excellent product.
Don’t listen to Alex’s review below. It’s probably his monitor that is not 60Hz compatible. Works fine for me and the options to adjust heater Hz I want to use is available in the settings on my mac. Very well made, high quality cable and very well priced compared to other ones out there that sell for more! CalDigit is Apple endorsed so a win-win situation for me.

Reliable 4K 60Hz UHD Dongle
Compact easy to use DP1.2 to HDMI 2.0 dongle. Purchased for use with an Apple version of the CalDigit TS4 (A Thunderbolt 4 Pro dock), so another monitor could be driven. CalDigit provide this dongle so you can use the dock for two HDMI monitors if no DP is available on your monitor.I have not had a change to use it in a 4K situation yet, as the monitor I have is FHD, therefore this dongle is only in real terms being used as a bridge between standards, and was chosen as it was a CalDigit device, and therefore purchased for compatibility. Other devices will work I am sure, but this works well and is so far reliable and robust. No video issues.

VERY BEST FOR CALDIGIT ACTIVE ADAPTER!
My Wacom Cintiq tablet worked with the TS3 Plus and adapter work perfectly fine in connecting the table to the TS3 Plus. It was very worked and very good! I was very happy with this, I enjoyed to drawing with my Cintiq. Yes! I missed drawing for a few months very much because my new MacBook Pro 16 inch has not HDMI and USB 3.0. They are all of four Thunderbolt USB-C types. I gave 100% five stars. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Dissapointing given the price
The CalDigit USB-C to HDMI 2.1 8K Video Adapter let me down. Even though it has great reviews I have found it to be of inferior performance compared to offerings from other manufacturers, making it hard to justify the price premium paid for this product. On top of this, it's worth noting that the adapter lacks DolbyVision support. If you're planning to connect it to an iPad or device capable of outputting DolbyVision I would avoid this adapter (see pic attached). For SDR / HDR10 output it will work fine but it's overall performance is still worse compared to other adapters. The adapter I went for in the end is (https://amzn.eu/d/jm5iyYy), I hope this saves you the hassle of trying different products and dealing with returns. The build quality of the adapter is great and in line with other CalDigit products, ease of use also receives a 5-star but they won't make up for the other drawbacks.

Does what it's supposed to regarding the video signal, but audio is different
I liked this for video as it does 4K at 60Hz as advertised, but the audio signal is capped to 16 bit 48 KHz, which is a problem for my use as it was plugged into an AVR and without this adapter the HDMI was carrying up to 24 bit 192000 KHz, so for my use it is unsuitable but if you are just using this to plug into a monitor or standard TV and do not care about high quality audio then it will be great.

Little more expensive but worth it because it works perfectly every time
Great adapter. Well worth paying a little extra for one that you know won't let you down.

Capability of device not clearly stated.
Did not work as expected, Used it to connect my laptop to an LG 34inch Ultra wide screen monitor - 60Hz UHD (3840 x 2160.I still get the same screen resolution incompatible error message as i get when using an HDMI cable for the same purpose.
