This monitor has been amazing for me for work and for leisure use. For the price point, I truly believe it’s unbeatable. I really like:1. Color Quality - yes, it’s a 1080p monitor. However, the colors of this monitor are great! Unlike other portable monitors I’ve tried, this one matches the saturation and hues on my main desktop perfectly, making it very pleasant to use.2. Power consumption - with a portable monitor, I was worried at first that my monitor would use a ton of my laptop’s battery. However, though it certainly does make the battery drain faster, it is much less power hungry than I expected.3 - portability. The case is a little large as it has to wrap the whole monitor. However, the sturdy build makes it easy to just throw in my bag and not worry about the monitor which is a big plus for me.4 - included cables. I loved that the monitor comes with all the cables necessary to connect to whatever you need. I generally only use USB-C, but you need special USB-C cords for monitors so I’m glad this came with it.A note on the case - at first I found it frustrating because it wouldn’t stand up properly for me. However, I realized it was just stiff out of the box. Once I used it a few times, it’s been super easy to get the stand to work consistently. if you’re having that issue, try folding it a bit to loosen it up.Overall, this has been a great productivity booster for me - definitely worth the price and a great experience to use it!

Here are some highlights from my experience:Pros:Stunning Display: The 15.6'' FHD 1080P screen delivers crisp and vibrant visuals, making it perfect for both work and gaming.Versatile Connectivity: With USB-C and HDMI ports, I can easily connect it to my laptop, phone, and gaming consoles like the PS5 and Switch.Portable and Convenient: The included smart cover bag makes it easy to carry around, and the monitor itself is lightweight and slim.Built-in Speakers: The dual speakers provide decent sound quality, which is great for on-the-go use.HDR Support: The HDR feature enhances the overall viewing experience, especially when watching movies or playing games.Cons:Speaker Quality: While the built-in speakers are convenient, they lack bass and depth. I prefer using external speakers or headphones for a better audio experience.Stand Stability: The smart cover works as a stand, but it can be a bit flimsy on uneven surfaces.Overall, the KYY Portable Monitor is a fantastic addition to my tech setup. Works and looks great, but I would recommend fold out stand because the cover sleeve doubling as a stand doesn’t work that great. It keep slipping off the stand but overall great monitor for the price and picture quality looks great on games and movies

Update:The Vendor contacted me and sent me their upgraded model that had a number of improvements to it.The new cover which is a full cover side load is suitable to support both landscape and portrait modes perfectly and keeps the monitor safer in transit. So, I no longer have an issue with the cover.The replacement has a properly working UBS-C port but I would still like to see support for USB-A.They have also upgraded the painful-to-operate rock and push dial interface on the side to a dedicated up-down and select button-based model which is a breeze to work with.The picture properly centers and fills the screen fully in both landscape and portrait modes. To my complete surprise, the speakers are actually usable even though they are far from great in comparison to your laptop speakers.By the way, the picture is still perfect, clear, and bright!Even though the lack of USB-A-based connectivity it is less than perfect in my book, with the attentiveness of the vendor to customer concerns and the improvements provided with the "-2" model, I believe it is only fair that I raise my rating of the product 5 stars.So, I just finished fighting with it. These are my conclusion. Keep in mind this is a modern Windows 11 laptop I am testing it with.- To start with I should state the picture is an 8 over 10 at least once you manage to get it to work.- Stand is a complete joke to me. I wouldn't feel safe to use it with such a fragile device and it is very limited in terms of viewing angles it is supporting.- Tried the known to be working USB-c port which I have used in the past for delivering both power and video to other units. Absolutely nothing happens.- Tried HDMI and HDMI and nothing until I plugged in the power supply and fed the USB-c port fo the monitor. Don't like the multi cable solution. Mind you I am doing this at home with a steady desk. Imagine doing this in "portable" use. Definitely not appealing.I was using for the last 24 hours another display, clearly of a lot lower quality but very accommodating and most importantly worked off a single USB 3.0 cable. While I didn't care for the quality at all, the simplicity and accommodation of portrait mode (pivoting) even though it wasn't auto pivot, I will take the lame monitor over this any day. It has a great picture if you are willing to put up with the issues of it and I am not willing to.-- There is no pivot mode, auto or otherwise. If you switch to portrait it gives you a tiny portrait image that is good for nothing. Also design apparently not meant to support portrait use. This is a critical feature to me.

Terrific monitor! Screen is large, bright and crisp. Easy connectivity. Perfect for woking simultaneously on two screens. Like the option of powering through the laptop or 120v outlet. All cords included. Sleeve-type cover doubles as as stand; not as sturdy as I'd like, but seems to keep the screen propped up.Highly recommend.
