Exactly what I was looking for. This is an active splitter, meaning the lowest common denominator is the source signal.Other splitters outputs are limited to both destinations capabilities, so if TV is only capable of DD and DTS, that's the highest sound that will be delivered/output to both ports, on the flip side if your receiver does not support UHD or 3D video, that will not be sent to any output either.With this splitter that is not the case.I am sending 3D picture to my TV, and DTS MA / Dolby TrueHD to receiver. My TV only supporta DD and DTS max. And my receiver does not support 3D signal. But with this splitter you can splitn the signal like that. The active splitter tells the source it has all these capabilities and advertises them even when both the destinations don't have support for them.I've been looking for for a splitter like this for a while.This is my second Orei splitter, overall these are of good quality. Solid build and function well.

In my case, the product separates the single port (output) behind an Apple TV 4K streamer to supply on the one hand a Sony OLED 4K (UHD) A9 television and an excellent legacy Yamaha RX-V1065 receiver (that not allow 4K video signals to be passed). One HDMI output cable going directly to the TV and the other one to the receiver. I now manage to view the TV in 4K SDR 4: 4: 4 and all types of audio signals are relayed well to the Yamaha receiver including advanced signals up to DTS HDMA and Dolby TrueHD. However, I cannot get audio when I try to enable the 4K HDR format on the Apple TV 4K unit. The 4K HDR video signal is passed but not the audio. Any connection combinations, including changes in the A / B switch position, resolve the issue when the OREI splitter is in the circuit. The OREI UHD-Pro102 is small, well build. Unfortunately, like many electronic consumer products, there is too much automatism and mysterious processes in the logic of this unit. It would have been interesting to have micro-switches to indicate directly to the unit the desired level of video resolution for each of the output connectors (A/B). Ditto for the audio processing. The instruction manual is vague and incomplete. It would be so easy to add a couple of diagrams to show the best way to make the most common connections. If OREI makes the effort to develop a more high-end product that supports future video and audio formats like Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, I will surely be interested in giving it a try.

It helped me to get dolby atmos from my 4k fire stick through AV receiver, I connected this device to output HDMI of AV receiver (To input of this device), then one output of this device connected to my HD sony tv, So my 4k fire stick will recognise tv as 4k and play UHD content. picture quality and sound quality is excellent. CEC also will work with this device

Lo compré para intentar hacer streaming de consola con PC, la salida1 va a un monitor Asus VP27BQ y la salida2 a una capturadora económica de las que venden en Amazon . He de decir para que quede como registro que me dedico a competir en muchos shooters (años de experiencia) y esperaba retraso en el monitor donde juego, pues no! Estoy bastante sorprendido de que la respuesta o llamese input lag es prácticamente nulo, siento que hay un poco pero jamas pense que fuera tan imperceptible pues siento que puedo jugar al nivel que estoy acostumbrado. No le pongo 5 estrellas porque la calidad en los tonos negros es algo grisácea, si logro hacer que se vea correctamente o si descubro que la capturadora es la que esta causando los tonos opacos le pondre la corona al producto. De momento estoy muy satisfecho con la entrega tan rapida, el buen empaque de fábrica en el que viene, el precio y sobre todo con el input lag! En cualquier momento que tenga dinero compraré otra jeje espero a alguien le sirva mi testimonio, saludos.

The splitter works fine as a splitter, but if you are trying to split the signal into two monitors with different resolutions, it fails as it doesn't do the required downscaling as is stated in the description.Unfortunately, there was no way to return the equipment I only had the option to change it to another copy which I did. But no luck with the second one too.
