The media could not be loaded. Got two of these, one for my dressing roomAnd one for my hallway, I used to have the smart switches (controlled by Alexa and by my phone) was waaaaay too much faf. But these are perfect, installed them almost 12 months ago and haven’t had a single issue. All you need is a neutral wire and you’re good to go, a 5 year old could fit them. Takes a bit of time to set up correctly in-terms of dialling in the programmes for the timer. But other than that they work right off the box. Literally could not fault them.

Initially I was pleased - sleek design that was simple to fit however mine stopped working reliably after 2 weeks - often the light doesn’t come in (even if I wave my hand directly on front of it). Maybe mine was faulty - but it does make me wonder.,.UPDATE - the seller contacted me and suggested tuning some settings - disabling the light detection and just using movement (which is nice that you can adjust) and it’s working reliably now. I’m pleased as I did like the minimal design.

I have had to replace this unit twice as it keeps failing. It seems to work brilliantly for about three months and then the lights just wont switch off at all. Will change for a different brand this time!!

The media could not be loaded. I LOVE this switch! I've been using a Hue bulb in a lamp and a Hue motion sensor in my kitchen because I loved being able to walk in and it automatically light up. However this didn't provide enough light output at night to do stuff easily. I used to have a crappy old strip light but replaced it with an LED ceiling light from Amazon. I then came across this switch which allowed me to automate my main ceiling light.It has so many different settings and they're very easy to understand and set.I have set it so the light comes on whenever you walk in the room day or night it switches on. I've set it to the off after 15 seconds if there is no movement.My cats do manage to activate it but only when they jump on the sides. The range is brilliant as the switch is on the same wall as the kitchen door and as soon as I open the door it picks up my arm before I've set foot over the threshold.I also have a back door in my kitchen and use it as the main entrance. Within taking a step inside the light switches on.I can't believe this was less than £15!!!I have taken a star off though as there are ZERO instructions on how to open the fitting to get access to the wire terminals - luckily some kind person who reviewed the switch gives you directions. But you could end up damaging the switch if you don't open it correctly. I also had to install mine upside down as the wires were blocking the back not allowing me to install it at the correct depth. That hasn't stopped it working perfectly though.

For most households in the UK/Ireland, you will have 3 wires (Live, Neutral and Ground). If you're starting from scratch, it should be no problem connecting these and even use them in a 2-way capacity.If however, you're trying to replace existing switches chances are that the Neutral wire is not being used in the same way specially if you're replacing regular 2-way switches and you'll need to re-wire accordingly.Once installed, they seem to work very well. Pretty quick to respond and have a pretty nice look to them, they blend in just fine.Great support for their customer services as they quickly shared the wiring diagram on how to connect these in 2-way fashion, which I'm sharing here as well for others to use.

Sadly this automatic PIR light swith is not suitable for use with LED light bulbs and ceiling recessed downlights, only tungsten and halogen bulbs.3 way sensetivity settings and manual On/Off options would have been great for our downstairs cloakroom otherwiseHaving to return for a refund.

Fitted to to garage light switch with no problems, works great. Note: this needs a neutral wire to work, a lot of light switches do not have this as they only switch the live wire.

I bought this to be installed into our garage (attached to our house) because we use it as a store and are frequently going in and out with arms full. It works brilliantly well and reliably so too. I think since it was installed 18 months ago it has paid for itself in saved electricity.
