good question; I do not know, though I don't think I would put in the dishwasher.

How long does it keep fresh?

We usually finish a bottle in 2-3 days. If you really appreciate wine you shouldn’t keep it long. No wine stopper can keep the wine as freshly opened one.

How easy is it to take the stopper out when your ready to drink your wine again? Looking to purchase this for my 90 year old father.

Very easy. Just twist lightly and off it comes. Doesn’t appear to seal as hard as other brand stoppers from years ago. So test it for leaks before you lay it down anywhere. I was surprised it actually didn’t leak.
