I got a new mini-PC that had the capability to mount to VESA attach points on a monitor. Many monitors have VESA attach points that can't be used if you have the regular stand attached, but not this one. I was able to mount the mini-PC on simply and end up with a 'sort of' All-in-One type computer/monitor unit. The speakers in the monitor are nearly useless - you will want a sound bar or other external speaker arrangement.The picture quality is outstanding. ViewSonic has been doing good monitors for decades, and it shows in this unit. It's very enjoyable to use this PC/monitor arrangement.

I got this right after i got their higher quality 32" monitor, but aside from the higher resolution and the metal frame of the other, I prefer this one in EVERY way! Its less of a strain on my GPU, its color feels better to my eyes, its lighter, and so less strain on the wall mount, and on the adjustments that hold it level and at the right height, the resolution is great, 2k is perfect IMHO. It's just a phenomenal display. Only thing I'd improve is the speakers. They are definitely lacking, but do the job if you don't expect high quality. Oh yeah, the curved screen is very nice on the eyes.

I bought this monitor over 2 years ago on Amazon. Unboxing, attaching the stand, and fine tuning the display settings were all done in less than 10 minutes. The monitors quality is just as good now as it was when I first bought it. Vibrant color display and VERY sturdy stand. The one thing I don't like about the set is the stands adjustment functions. You can't raise the monitor more than 4 inches and it doesn't have a wide tilt ability, only minimal. But to me, for the price and quality, not a deal breaker. I took my time researching curved display monitors under $400.00 and I am very glad I chose this one.

I'm not sure why the low reviews; I absolutely love this monitor. I use it primarily for work/productivity/surfing/streaming; I haven't gamed on it yet (though it does have a 165Hz refresh rate). I'm a software developer who needs lots of screen real estate for multiple tabs/editors; I also wanted a FLAT ultrawide (the curved ultrawides, which are far more prevalent, mess with my eyes and aren't the best imho for productivity/coding). This monitor is fantastic; crisp display, relatively easy-to-use controls. My only minor complaint is the stand - and this is 100% a personal gripe - while it is very high quality & has all the adjustments, including height - the actual abase of the stand takes up a lot of desk space; it's not horrible, but I prefer rectangular bases - this one has those wide 'gaming monitor' feet. In any case, LOVE this monitor!

This monitor is a good budget monitor that has similar specs and features to others in a higher price range. I have been running this monitor for almost a year now and haven't had any issues of dead pixels or any quality control issues pop up yet. This is an ultra wide so you must have a decent rig to run this setup around a 3070 or higher for modern gaming at least in 2025. There are some things to note before you buy this monitor. The specs show to run 180hz and other features it requires the use of display port 1.4. However what it does not tell you is that the monitor comes with a display port 1.2 HBR2 certified cable. I had to figure this out by comparing and looking at the specs and user guide from their website. So if you are buying this monitor make sure to get a HBR3 certified display port 1.4 cable. This also allows more settings to be used in conjunction in the monitor as well. The 1ms response time feature is done by a feature called "Motion Picture Response Time" (MPRT) feature to achieve that fast response time. This means that the normal brightness levels you'll notice won't be as bright when playing a game yet a positive is that you won't see any blurriness or minimal ghosting in my tests. This means that you cannot use 1ms while using hdr10 which brings me to my next point. HDR10 on this monitor is really good especially on high contrast scenes. although you will rarely notice the difference or improvement in colors but will notice in brightness and contrast. like I said you cannot use the 1ms and hdr at the same time. Another quirk for this monitor is to use it in the color space YUV and not RGB. YUV is a better color space mainly used by modern graphics cards. my rig to get a idea of performance is a ryzen 5900x, evga ftw3 3080, 64gb of ram, and gen 4/5 m.2 drives. In call of duty black ops 6 high settings with dlss on I get 115-123 FPS. In final fantasy 7 remake intergrade i hit the cap of 144fps, final fantasy 16 i get around 60-125 with dlss on. spiderman 2 100-135 fps consistent with dlss on, and the last game i tested is fort nite which i get around 90fps without dlss on. I bring up the frames of games because when using 1ms response time mode its very codependent with the framerate of a game so your mileage might vary from what I noticed. The setup is incredibly easy and a really great budget monitor. I would recommend this for if you want to upgrade from an older monitor. Just remember to have a decent rig by a HBR3 diplay port 1.4 cable, and to read the user manual for weird quirks.
