Not unless you push forward a lot as you type. The slider rail’s travel isn’t 100% buttery smooth, so there is a little friction resistance Officially there are no lock mechanism but what I do is I use a 2” wide binder clip under each slide rail as a clamp to clamp it in any desired position and it doesn’t move at all.
