The spoons do not have any magnetic properties. Because they are stainless steel they do not react to a magnetic source either.

Can these be used to stir very hot liquid (melted wax) without damage to the spoon?

I don't think stirring hot wax would damage the spoon, but it would require some effort to clean.

For the black color, does it rub off?
