Is it suitable for Xmas letters with photos?

Yes it would work well - it prints photos nicely as part of a letter . It’s not grossly so you can read the letter but the photos colours are bright especially with hp printers

Is the carbon generated of the transport of tge paper offset as well?

Yes the carbon for the transport is offset - in fact it’s the only carbon that needs offsetting as the paper is carbon neutral in production . The transport carbon is calculated on the basis of delivery to an Amazon warehouse and then a worst case calculation for the last leg to the final customer
