OMG! These stands are awesome!
First of all, they came beautifully packaged. Everything was in perfect condition. Now, the fit and finish of these stands is outstanding. The black tempered glass is absolutely beautiful. Assembly is very easy and took 5 minutes. Once together, you have a solid stand that is simply beautiful to look at. It will add to the overall appearance of your bookshelf speaker. It will then have a very classy, elegant look. The pictures here don't do them justice. You have to see them in person. I'm using them for my front speakers, Klipsch RP-160M. They're pretty big and weigh around 20lbs. each and these stands hold them with no problem. And they look great on them! This is so much better than those cheap wooden stands (MDF) made of particle board, where the holes don't always line up and you end up splitting the wood when driving the screws. With this stand, all pieces are precision and everything fits/lines up perfectly. All in all, if you want to add beauty to your media room as well as having a nice solid stand for your bookshelf speaker, this is the one to get. You will not regret it. Worth every penny. Actually, IMO, it's worth a lot more than the selling price.Thank you Perlesmith for an outstanding product!

AWOL Thunderbeat speaker recommendation
Tempered black glass, sturdy. Aesthetically, they complement the whole setup. Easy to assemble. Perfect height. Using with my AWOL Thunderbeat wireless speakers. Ordered 2, for a total of 4 stands. I recommend running your power cable thru the access points DURING the assembly process, for convenient installation. You CAN run your wires thru if assembled. NO adhesive or clamps necessary. Pictured next to AWOL Vision cabinet, 120” cinematic ALR screen. See photos for additional information.Hope this helps.

Sturdy, good weight, nice finish
Honestly before screwing it all together, I thought this thing was going to be wobbly and weak. Other stands from this company screw together, this one has a rod that holds it all together so the two pipes that form the stand and the plastic ring between them just sit against each other. It's the tension that the rod in the center applies that holds it together. Combined with of course gravity, there's no worry about this thing wobbling or holding speakers.I'm surprised the weight rating isn't higher. Weight limit is probably more about size and being top heavy if the speaker is larger. In terms of weight, I wouldn't worry. This is good because if you are using this for home theatre and want to sit Atmos modules on top, you're good to go.No clamps or anything to fasten the speaker was another thing that surprised me (I have small speakers elsewhere so I'm used to having keyholes, etc.). However, the rubber pads provide a non slip surface that works well. I'm not concerned here as the speakers are close to my TV near a wall and won't be bumped. I wouldn't be worried if they were alongside a couch or chair either -- if I didn't have young kids or large dogs running around. No one should bump into these to cause a speaker to slip off under most circumstances. Sure, a kid or dog running would knock it completely over, but the rubber pads work well for grip.On the subject of knocking it over...these do feel sturdy. The base is wide, wider than the top of course. It is a somewhat heavy stand. It has carpet spikes and rubber feet to choose from. I would expect a young kid or medium to large size dog to knock the stand over by running into it...but for most normal situations, these are very sturdy. You can walk past one and graze it and it won't fall over. I accidentally bumped into one and it was fine. Obviously I didn't shove it or run into it, but it was a bump that would have knocked over a smaller stand for sure. They will wobble. You can rattle it and get it to wobble and flex. Especially if your floor isn't perfectly flat of course. The feet are not adjustable height from what I can tell. At least not the rubber ones, they just slip on where the carpet spikes would screw in. Again, the rubber pads hold the speaker on the stand well. As I wobble the thing to test it here, I don't fear the speaker slipping off. You have to wobble it. It's not going to wobble from wind or a fan or anything like that. I just want to describe that while it has a good base and some weight, you can move it. It's not a rock. It's not a piece of furniture. The holes (one on either piece, top/bottom) where the cable goes through surprised me. Be sure to line them up because as you tighten things, everything turns a little. The glass on these adds a nice touch. They look good and don't stick out like a sore thumb or anything. They do their job.

Near perfect, some flaws.
I purchased these based on the near five star reviews. The ratings are dead on - it's near five stars!First off, the quality of the materials is quite nice. Nothing cheap here, the heavy glass base and top have a very luxurious look and feel to them. Metal components quite solid, very nice sized holes to run speaker wire through. nice packaging for the screws and everything. Easy to follow instructions. Height is perfect for sit down listening enjoyment. Now two flaws, which may or may not be annoying to people who buy them.First annoyance, if you have nice a glass base and top, do not put stickers on them with near impossible to remove glue! It took me nearly 10 minutes to remove the glue and reside the labels left behind on the glass. Come on!Second, I echo the concerns others have about there being no way to secure the speakers to the top of the stand. May or may not be a problem depending on where your stands are located but being constantly worried about your nice speakers being bumped off the stands is a legitimate concern.I've opted not to trust the rubber pads the stands come with and to err on the side of caution by securing the speakers to the stand using Command strips, but something like this would have been nice to have come in the package.Overall, very nice stands for the price, especially when they're on sale for under $50!

Nice Product
Stands arrived in perfect condition. Assembly was fairly straightforward, and when done, the stands are sturdy and attractive. My only complaint is the set of stickers, carefully placed on the tops of the glass plates, which are difficult to remove and, once removed, leave a sticky residue which is also difficult to remove. Not enough to deduct a star but annoying.
