Highly Recommend and Would Repurchase
I use these cargo straps to secure a kayak in the bed of a pickup truck with the tailgate down; they work great! I purchased this type of cargo strap because it is so much easier to use the cam buckles on these straps than ratchets on ratchet straps. The cam buckle tightens the straps to securely hold cargo as intended. I especially liked these straps because the cam buckles are powder-coat painted black (to match the straps), rest on 1.5" wide polypropylene fabric (to help protect against surface scratches), and the straps can be stored in the included draw string carry bag. I definitely recommend these cargo straps and would repurchase them again myself too.

easy to use, strong
We use these to secure our kayaks to the racks on our dock. They have held very well and lately we've had a lot of windy days. They even held during a water spout, we were very happy to see the kayaks still on the racks after it was over. I would recommend these. They are a good length and easy to use.

nice. wide. straps.
These straps are pretty great. They are wider than previous straps making them stronger and less likely to damage my poly-foam SUPs. Held 2 SUPs in place for a 6+ hr drive including freeway speeds and windy mountain driving.

Awesome Straps for Paddleboard or Kayak
I could not be more pleased with these straps. They fit perfectly in the integrated tie down loops on the roof rack of my Outback. High quality strap and buckle. They secured my kayak perfectly. Time to put the board or kayak on the vehicle and secure it if very fast. Very fast as you take the board or kayak off. Great broader nylon flap behind the buckle too. This keeps your board or kayak from getting damaged by the buckle. I would definitely buy these again.

Straps snapped on the freeway
This is my second time using the straps. The first time was great; no complaints. The second time, however, one of the straps completely snapped from the middle while on the freeway. Our board almost flew off like a kite. Luckily, I was able to pull off the shoulder in time before causing an accident. I've kept the straps in my closet (a cool, dry atmosphere) for 3 months before using them for the first time. The straps were not overly sinched down, either. I highly question and am concerned about the quality of these straps. Please make sure to be ready to pull off of the road at a moment's notice!

Wonderful straps
Great straps. Easy to use and made of quality materials. I have been using them for a month consistently and they have little wear (though I have been taking care of them and storing them properly). Will update on longer-term wear, but I am very satisfied.3-year UPDATE: been using consistently close to three years. Still work great! I have done a good job keeping them out of the sun and excessive elements. The clamps still bite hard and the fabrics has very minimal fraying along the length. The ends have frayed a bit, but nothing some trimming and a lighter could not solve. Get these, strap your gear up, and have fun!

With a little bit of work, they work.
Straps are OK. Everything is as described. Problem with padding underneath the buckle. Not enough padding either thick or long enough. Must wrestle to make sure straps lay properly on canoe, especially where padding is supposed to protect from the buckle.

Great quality for the price
Here in Hawaii, this kind of item can be purchased at only famous surf shop. I know they need make profits, but the prices are insane. This strap is maybe much better quality than well known brand name like Dakine or Turle. The strap is much thicker than other manufacturer's products and the buckle is trust worthy. I truly recommend this strap!!
