The waterproof roof that come with the dog kennel are very practical. It can provide shade and protection from the rain without any problem. When placed in the backyard, even if it rains a little, there is no need to worry about the dog getting wet.The doghouse is equipped with a food bowl and a water bowl, as well as a safety lock and a fixed hook. The hook is inserted into the ground to keep the doghouse in place, making it very reassuring to use.

The media could not be loaded. Mr. Ironstone Large Dog Kennel (4’Lx4’Wx4.4’H)This is my first kennel I’ve put together. I’ve assembled other things, so its about the same thing. Total set up time: about 1 hour and a half.For reference: pictured adult lab/bulldog mix about 60 pounds and bloodhound pup about 15 pounds.What I like:1. Fast and Free shipping! - No extra charge like other kennels I considered buying. It arrived just as they advertised - which was two days.2. Packaging - The packaging was well cared for. Showed very little signs of damage. The parts were well protected3. Instructions and labels - I’m actually impressed at how well the parts were labeled. They all had correct and way to read labels on them. The instructions were easy to read and understand. Kudos!All parts and pieces were included- not one missing piece!Also, the wing nuts are on the outside “to prevent scratches on beloved pets”. Kudos to them for thinking about that! It also lessens the chance they swallow one should it come loose.4. Revolving Feed Door - I liked the idea of having separate access to feed instead of opening the main door. Two bowls were included with height adjustable fasteners.5. Latches - Includes two front latches which lessens the chance of escape through the front door.6. Room - Spacious enough to hold the two dogs with room for them to maneuver themselves in it. I could sit in there with the pup and be comfortable.7. Lightweight - It’s light enough to easily move it from one place to another. I know it could be a drawback, but overall I like that I can move it from one place to another.What I wish were improved:1. Feed bowls - The bowls were small in my opinion. Picture of bowls with Allen wrench for comparison. The feed bowl fasteners don’t feel sturdy enough for one feeding session (60 pound lab/bulldog).2. Latches - No locking method built into the latches. None was advertised.3. Frame stability - The frame will more than likely not hold up if my Ms B. WANTED out. This is better suited for a smaller dog or puppy. Stakes are included to hold it to the ground.My Overall Take:The deciding factors for me were the fast and free shipping. The great labels and instructions are definitely a big plus.This kennel with its design and price is definitely a winner! I believe it will serve its purpose of a temporary holding area for a puppy. I would buy another.

As soon as the product arrived, I started assembling it. The assembly process was simple. The product is quite sturdy and good-looking. I highly recommend it.

Well to begin the box on the outside with the Amazon logo looked beautiful and new! The box I received on the inside looked like if fell off the truck, did flips down the highway, to then be pickup brought to the warehouse and delivered to me.If I absolutely did not need it, it most definitely would have been returned.The door was bent on the bottom, the bowl holder shattered, bowl crumbled, and parts had came loose in the box.Now that being said the actual product itself was super user friendly and easy to assemble. I did it by myself in about an hour.(Instructions also suck the way they are printed)For a smaller dog, puppy, or a cat you want to let outside for a while this will hold up just fine!Had three 11 week old mini heelers having a blast in it today.

Update #2: customer service has reached out and replaced the faulty kennel with a new one. This one seems better made than the original one.Update: not even a month later the spring connector for the feeding door broke off. It's not even a daily used kennel. So disappointed. Not worth the money spent on it.Part of the “roof” wouldn’t go into the hole to be screwed in. The roof is just a fabric type tarp. No real way to secure it except 2 small buckle things on each side that snaps apart easily. My dog escaped within 10 minutes of me walking away. Not worth the money
