ACDelco 15-80664 Heating and Air Conditioning Blower Motor with Wheel

Needed a new one and this was a perfect fit. No problems with installation at all. Works great, very pleased.

By purchasing AC-Delco, I was expecting to get an exact replacement blower motor and wheel. Unfortunately, the wheel was smaller diameter than my original and I had to reuse my old one. This was disappointing and it took a lot of extra time. Also, the motor housing did not look like my original motor. Instead, it looked universal (i.e. the shape was different and it had two different size holes for the motor vent hose). I think I could have saved money by purchasing a lower cost brand. But, it works good and is just as quiet as the original blower. So, I'm relatively happy.

SHOWLD HAVE BOUGHT A DIFFERENT MANUFACTURER FOE MY 1999 GRAND PRIX. THIS ONE IS JUST AS NOISY AS THE ONE I REPLACED WHICH WAS ALSO A DELCO. MY WIFES CAR IS A GM CHEVEY AND YOU CANT HEAR THE MOTOR ON THE NO 1 SETTING. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE ONE I REPLACED, I JUST WANTED A QUIET MOTOR. DELCO HAS GONE DOWN HILL THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS ALONG WITH THEIR CARS. THE GOVERMENT SHOULD HAVE LET THEM GO BANKRUPT.

Installed in my 2000 Corvette when the original died after 160k miles. After learning my lesson on the alternator I opted for an ACDelco over an off brand. Quality of the seals, motor, and basket are noticeably better than the original unit. Motor is quieter, smaller, lighter, and fit just fine. It has an extended lead for the plug so it will fit multiple applications. Comes with 2 plugged vent holes. My car used the larger of the two. Took laying on my back for about 15 minutes under the passenger seat to get it swapped out. Move the panel out of the way and 3 screws with a 6mm head. Easy peasy.

I bought this for my 99 Grand Prix because the other oone was just about dead. The motor installed just fine. The only problem I had the one that was in the car was replaced once before and they motified the plug so I had to rewire the new one to fit. But motor still working stronge.

I installed this blower motor assembly with some hesitation on how well it would perform, well, it works great. I'm back inbusiness riding in my cool [in many ways] '98 Corvette.
