Good Edger - not so good engine
Good edger- bad carburetor. The triple edge blade is great- cuts through without any problem. The engine surged-(lean) since new. I finally took the carburetor off and redrilled the main jet with a set of very small drills. The engine leaks oil while being hung up on the wall for storage. It's the latest style briggs- with plastic cam gears. I would buy one like this with a different model engine.

3 out of 3 have issues. Look elsewhere. Waste of time and money.
Purchased at Sears. Poor product. Have gone through THREE of these and ALL have issues with carburetor. Starts 3 or 4 uses then never again. Always fresh gas. Always use stay-bil. Always fails after a few uses. Products like this are why Sears is in financial trouble.

Starts first time every time!
I purchased this edger at Sears last year to replace an older model, manual choke edger. This Craftsman edger starts first time every time and performs well. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
