Another Great Toto product
This is my second Toto Neorest. This “all in one” Toto Neorest RS toilet is featured in many upscale hotels around the world. Yes, I feel that the “all in one” toilet is worth the investment. On our new (to us) house, we had to have an electrician come to add in an electric plug for the toilet in the water closet. Since the Toto Neorest is standard plumbing otherwise, our plumber easily removed the old, & installed the new Toto toilet. When you walk in the room, the lid raised, a soft light comes on, it warms to a very small degree, and after you go, it auto flushes. Everything is set default, and you may make MANY changes if you wish. Our plumber likes it so much, that his mother now wants one. At the last home, I had Toto Neorest for over 15 years. They just always work well. There is a button for manual flush is electricity is off.

Really good toilet but...
I did not purchase this unit, I bought a Neorest 500 back in 2012. Bidet toilets are the shizzle and we love ours. It is still running well but we did run into an issue today. On our toilet Toto uses a proprietary shutoff valve combined with a particulate filter. We clean the filter when the toilet starts filling slowly which will be dependent upon the quality of your water supply -- for us the last time we had to do this was about 5 years ago. When I went to shut off the water supply I was unable to do so, instead of a large handle with lots of available torque they have a small flat head screw. Well, mine was likely chemically fused due to the amount of time since I'd last used it and I stripped the screw trying to close the valve. I tried to order a replacement part but Toto no longer produces the unit, parts for the unit, nor does it have a supply of parts. I searched the internet for the replacement valve with a popular search engine, checked Amazon, ebay, and marketplace all without luck. These are extremely expensive toilets and Toto owes it to their customers to maintain a supply of parts -- even on discontinued models. You can get parts for a '66 Mustang but not a toilet purchased in 2012? C'mon man!

Beautiful Toilet
Our first Toto and it's a beauty. Love the shape. More features than one can use. I agree and understand Mike's review, the valve is plastic and small. Our plumber couldn't understand why for such an expensive bidet. Only time will tell.
