Leather case for the following models: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ41 / 36/31 / 25/22 / 18/10 / 8/7 / 6/5 / 4/3 / 2 and DMC-FT5

It looks good, the stitching is all neat and tidy but I seriously doubt that it is real leather.There is no provision for an extra battery or card. You could squeeze in an SD card but not a battery.The front and back have a hidden stiff layer to provide protection but there is no protection on the sides. There is no padding anywhere, just a velvety fabric which extends from the front and back to protect the camera from the zip - in theory.I am using it for a Lumix FT5 which is a fairly tight fit. The potential problem with this is, when you insert the camera, there is a strong tendency to push that velvety fabric away from the zip, potentially leaving the camera to be marked by the zip. The zip is plastic but the slider is metal. There is a minor risk with this camera and probably with others too.Because of that tendency, you DO have to be more careful than is desirable when putting the camera away. If the case is on your belt, it is 'impossible' to take the care that is desirable. Fingers crossed, the case will stretch a little in use and adapt itself to the camera - rather than the other way around.For the benefit of Mr Panasonic, the reason there is a zip issue is because the sides of the case are concave. They need to be convex, like on a shell style case. That would lift the zip away from the camera - simple.

I bought this case over 2 years ago for a TZ 30 and, later, another for my daughter's identical camera, both from another Amazon supplier. Both have worn very well. I like it because it zips up all the way round to help protect the camera from dust - and the TZ cameras are prone to inhaling dust onto the sensor as they open - I had one that did so and our daughter's has done so too despite the zip-up case. The case was great value when I bought it at £11. I am not sure it is now, at near double that.

Lovely case and good fit.Very pleased with overall quality of product. Would have liked a slot for the sd card
