Incipio Clamcase+ Power Backlit Keyboard with Power Bank for iPad Pro 9.7 - Black (2016 Model Only)

I rated the ClamCase+Power four stars for durability -- but I've not had it long enough to give it a true rating.It was easy to use and setup, and comparable in most respects to a ZAGG clam case that failed. (I couldn't see paying almost three times more for a replacement ZAGG when this one was reasonably priced. I particularly like the fact that I can open the case so that it, when opened, can be flat on a table top.I haven't had a need to use the power backup battery pack that is built in, but anticipate it being a handy feature in the future.

I bought this keyboard case after I dropped my phone on my iPad Pro while using a Brydge keyboard that didn't completely cover the iPad. I was mainly interested in protection, but there were a couple of pleasant surprises.1. The keyboard nice. The travel is a little longer than the Brydge, but the typing is more reliable2. This case folds back a full 180 degrees, so there's no need to remove the iPad from the case if I want to draw or read in portrait mode.3. With the iPad in the case, it's still possible to do the sweep-up gesture from the bottom of the screen. This is impossible with the Brydge keyboard.So far, the hinge is holding up well. And the unit is very nicely packaged. The power bank works great for charging my phone.

I'm on my second case. First one had 3-4 keys that had to be depressed really hard to make them work. Also had a slight delay in response, also had the volume decrease EVERY time you close or move the cover. Returned to Amazon. The second one is much better, all the keys work, no lag while typing, but the same volume button issues. I love this case, it works for me as I use it, I can live with the volume button issue because everything else about the keyboard is great. If only Incipio made this case just a little better........

Not sure why a lot of people are complaining, this fits the first generation iPad Pro 2016 model as stated in the title. No issues with anything. Simply amazed by the packaging. Everything was well placed and sealed. Almost better than apple mackaging. Keys feel nice to the touch and the entire thing makes an iPad Pro even more versatile. I had the original clamcase for iPad Air and just saw that this incipio brand took over so I knew it would be better. I paid over 100 for the original so see this for only $35 was a no brainer. People complain of hinges and such but really, it’s all delicate so just keep that in mind and be careful. It has a smooth matte black look and it feels great. Everything about is is impressive and the only downside might be that there will be finger oil prints on keyboard that you might need to wipe off routinely. Battery charger was just a plus and it doesn’t weigh that much more than a case. JUST BUY IT. Everyone with an iPad Pro should have this.

This is my second unit. I had one for my iPad air2. I bought the pro plus power for my iPad Pro. Functionally great, a little heavy but that's to be expected with the additional battery. I also like the new backlit keyboard feature.However, it started glitching within about three months. Never had that problem with my first one, so I'm assuming it could be a lemon. Customer service had been okay but I use this $160 case for business and not having it for two weeks is a pain. Would rather have a unit with no defects. Hopefully there are enough good reviews on these from people who didn't have issues to level their rating a bit higher if it's deserved. I couldn't give it less stars because I actually really like the function it adds for bridging the gap from iPad to laptop.

I bought this keyboard in September. It has a one-year warranty.Its “V” key stopped working. I reached out to I Cupid and was told:“ I'm sorry. Once an item has been discontinue it voids the warranty on the product. Please accept the 30% discount code below for your trouble. The code can be used for regular priced items. You would need to create an account in order for the discount code to work.”

Update:I hate to say this but I bought this case in Feb 2020. Loved it! Great protection and backlit keyboard worked great. However, it is now April and the keyboard no longer works. It turns on and then immediately goes off. Tried charging it several times with several different cables and it still doesn’t work. Reached out to Incipio and they will not honor the warranty because I did not purchase it from their website and it’s been discontinued. The only bright side is that I did not spend $200. But still, don’t waste your money. There are plenty of other keyboard cases out there. Also may force me to get a newer IPad!! LOL!I have had several of these Clamcases for my IPad and they are really the best. The keyboard is wonderful. Holds a charge forever and it keeps my iPad safe and secure. The only reason I have bought several is that I’m hard on stuff!! But it’s better than cracking the screen on my iPad. Also, the price is better on Amazon and it looks like the Incipio site no longer sells them. Thanks so much Amazon!! You saved the day!

I purchased the Clamcase IPad Pro to be used with my IPad. It is very nice looking and very useful when I am not at home. The keyboard is very light and it is very compact that would fit in a tote bag. I am very happy with my purchase and looking forward to working with this seller.
