Lower Capacity than a new Canon, but sufficient.
These batteries ARE NOT as high of capacity as name brand canon NB-4L batteries.I have 5 name brand canon batteries, The newest battery at two years old gets 1hr 45 min of 640 video. The oldest is 9 years old,and gets only 55 min.Between all of my canon brand batteries, I'm getting 1 hr 25 min of recording on average.I estimate that a new Canon brand battery would probably be getting just short of 2 hours on this test. These replacement batteries however are only getting 1 hr 15 min each, which is worst than every single one of my batteries, except for my very oldest. While it would be nice if they truly were 1400mAh, for the price point there really isn't a lot to complain about. They still provide a the bulk of the charge of a name brand battery, at a fraction of the price, and have other benefits of being a new battery vs an old canon one, like a lower internal resistance. None of my older batteries work very well in the cold for instance, where as a new battery, regardless of capacity, handles cold much better.Edit:Please note it took several charge cycles for the new batteries to establish a consistent capacity.Out of the box, one battery was giving me an hour, and the other gave me 15 min, and my final measurement was after 5 full cycles.

Good batteries
Bought this 2 pack for my Canon Powershot Elph 100 HS because buying a Canon brand battery would cost about 40% of what I paid for the camera itself. Not only that, but this 2 pack contains more capacity per battery than the Canon stock battery. The Canon battery I received has 760 mAh I believe. The 2 pack batteries that I bought came with 1400 mAh each, so a total of 2800 mAh. I bought the 2 pack on March 6, 2012 and lasted me this long. One of them doesn't work for me anymore unfortunately, but it was my fault that it happened. I accidentally left them in my pants pocket a few times when I put my clothes in the wash. I wasn't expect them to work, but surprisingly they did and didn't get any water into my camera. After that happened a few times, one of the batteries started peeling off around the metal tabs on the battery, with that it won't power my camera for more than a few minutes. The other battery still works fine. It's the only one I have now since my original stock battery got a chip in it (piece broke off, could pretty much see inside the battery). The one battery I do have is still holding up, which is good since my camera is falling apart now anyways (I use it a lot).

Cheap but good
I'm no expert on technology or things like batteries, but I can say that these batteries seemed to do what they were supposed to do. I can't comment on their technical features or even if they match that of the battery that came with my camera, sorry. I bought the 2 pack because I had read that the camera I bought (Canon PowerShot Elph 300) had a poor battery life. First, I didn't notice a battery life problem with my new camera. This could be because I have had the same digital camera for the past 6 years and am accustomed to having to charge it every night???? I bought the camera and battery pack because I was going on vacation. My old camera battery would die in the middle of the day on my last two vacations, so I desperately wanted one that would last. I took my new camera and new batteries on my last vacation (early September), and I usually could go about 1.5-2 days without having to charge the batteries (this goes for both the original and the spares). That's perfectly fine for me!

Great battery for the price
I purchased two of these batteries just before going on vacation and these lasted well over 140 - 160 pictures before showing the low battery sign. I shot pictures continuously for 5 days with both batteries in temperatures that ranged from the high 30's to the 70's and didn't see a problem with them not lasting. I was surprised as my video recorder lost a lot of battery time in the colder weather. In my use, these last about as long as my original batteries when they were new and recharges in about the same amount of time. I'd buy these again as they were so much lower in price than the original Canon batteries.

good product for the $
The batteries were what I expected & at a reasonable price, however that wasn't the problem with my camera. Seems my camera just reached the end of it's life.

Works as advertised for 1/10 the cost of canon batteries
these batteries charge and operate as advertised.the quality of the build of the battery is slightly lower than that of the canon battery if you look carefully. But at 3 dollars a battery, who cares! I received 2 batteries for 6 dollars. the only thing is that the batteries did not come with a battery cover but it's a minor issueI'm using it with canon powershot digital elph 300hs andthe charge seems to last just as long as the canon battery that came with the camera. there's no reason to spend 10 times as much on a canon battery.I would definitely buy these again!

This battery is awesome!!!!
I purchased this battery as a back up for a 3 week trip to Spain. I was a bit worried about its quality because it's price was so low. I had nothing to worry about. It worked as good as the factory suppied Canon battery - in fact, I could not tell which one was in the camera. I wound up lending one to folks from Texas while on the trip as their Canon battery would not hold a charge.
