Replaced with a cheap HDMI splitter to get flawless performance. More expensive is just a ripoff.
After several of these units displayed glitchy performance and signal loss I finally got one the that worked reasonably well for about 6 months. When it started the same signal loss pass through I contacted the company for a refund. I gave up on their advice and excuses. Beware this company as they will not refund under their warrantee. All they offer is yet another replacement that probably has the same faulty circuitry. I moved on to a cheap HDMI splitter and now have a perfect performer. I rated this 5 stars so hopefully others will read it. This company contacted me via email12-6-24 in reference to my complaint that they had me return the faulty product and I am left with no splitter and no refund. They ask for a phone number to call me and then never called. I gave them my cell number twice to make sure they got it right and eventually they emailed and said they tried to call and it went straight to voice mail. FALSE. I even tested my phone with another and it works perfectly. Clearly they just wanted to write this off as my fault.

Great product, worked perfectly out of the box!
So, I was a little skeptical on buying this product since it only had one review for this particular version of it (the 4K HDR 60fps 4-port version). But to my surprise, the product worked perfectly. A little background on what I'm using it for: I have an Xbox One X, and I recently upgraded to an LG 4K HDR 60 Hz monitor from the 1080p tv that I've had for probably about 3+ years. Once using the 4K monitor I realized the Elgato HD60S does not allow the Xbox to let you play games in 4K/HDR - it limits it to 1080p. So, shortly after finding that out I started researching and came across info on needing an HDMI splitter. I was actually almost going to buy the other one by this brand until I read that it doesn't allow you to play in HDR, only in 4K60FPS. So then I found this version, and thought I'd try it out! I set everything up in about 5 mins. I have my Xbox HDMI cabled to the input of the splitter, then an HDMI cable coming out of the output 4 of the splitter into my Elgato HD60S capture card, then an HDMI cable coming out of output 1 into my LG-4K HDR monitor. For the pin switches: for the first pin section, I have the second pin downward (for HDR to SDR in output 4); for the second pin section (EDID mode), I have all of those in the up position (aka Off); for the pin section that has 4 pins, I have those all in the up position also.Side note: Before plugging in anything I cleared the cache of my Xbox (hard reset), by powering off and unplugging it. Then plug it back in and power it back on. And anyway, everything has worked perfectly. If you have an Astro MixAmp be sure to switch it to PC mode then back to Xbox mode so that your Xbox recongizes/assigns your headset again after you've hard reset the Xbox.Hope this is helpful to anyone else who is thinking of buying this, great alternative to buying a 4K60Pro Elgato capture card (or any others that are priced at $250+).

4k 120hz, can't downscale 2nd output
Works well if you just want the same hz output. otherwise, i could not get it to output 4k 120hz to the xbox series x, and output 2 to the philips hue @ 4k 60hz or even 1080p 120hz.Sadly, had to return due to this.

Works great for 24Hz video too
I was a little uncertain when I bought this that it would work for anything other than 60Hz because of the way the specs are written, but it does the job I needed it to do at 24 Hz (well, 23.976Hz to be more precise), which is allowing me to watch HDR movies using my video projector while two small monitors simultaneously show the content being sent to the big screen. Until I added this device the small monitors caused HDR to be disabled when they were connected.

HDR-SDR Enhancement Doesn't Work Well
So far I'm not impressed. It flat doesn't produce any output from my Xbox Series X to any display or AVR I've tried, with various settings and cables. Unfortunately there's hardly any real documentation (what does AVR mode do? does the HDMI lights' blinking mean anything?) so all I could do for troubleshooting was try every different permutation of connections and settings until I'd exhausted everything.Gofanco was not responsive to my pre-sale question (so much for all their "please contact us ahead of time to verify compatibility" suggestion). I figured I'd give it a shot anyway and no luck so far. There were fingerprints all over the splitter and a random hair in the box so I'm thinking this might have been a defective return that either Amazon or gofanco restocked.I've sent a support ticket to gofanco so we'll see if this goes anywhere. If I haven't heard back from them within their "24 hour" response window (the same one where they didn't respond earlier), I'm sending this back for a refund.I'll update this review once there's a resolution one way or another.Update:Support did get back to me and confirmed that the device was defective. I received a replacement from Amazon pretty quickly and while it does produce an output signal, the HDR-SDR "enhancement" feature on port 4 really looks awful. When it's on, the picture is very washed out like the brightness on the TV is set too high. When it's off, everything is very dim (as is usually the case when no tone mapping is being applied). I have updated my support ticket with this information and am waiting on a response. I will update the review as things progress.Final Update:I'm returning this. Maybe it works better with capture cards or 4K displays or something but what I can say definitively is that this can not (effectively) be used to do external downscaling and HDR tone mapping between an Xbox Series X and a 1080p SDR display (I was attempting an external workaround for the Xbox's awful internal UHD BD tone mapping). All it seems to do is boost the black level way up and it leaves the luma and chroma low and dull, and that goes for UHD movies as well as games.I CAN, however, confirm that it has no problem passing through a 24Hz signal, which is something that isn't explicitly mentioned in the docs. It also seems to do a better job downscaling than the Xbox does internally, as long as no HDR is involved. Also, the splitting seems to work fine (again, as long as there's no HDR involved). If I hadn't specifically bought this for the HDR-SDR feature, I might have kept it.
