I love this tea set! When I initially came across it, I thought it would be the perfect addition to china closet. The design is beautiful and it definitely stands out from the run of the mill designs. The cups might look delicate but they are sturdy. The plates are very sturdy too. Bought this for a Christmas Present and everything came very nicely packaged and nothing was broken, despite being nervous about that part. People say the stand is unusable, but we use it. I could see how some might say you can't use it. I think you just have to put it together correctly, and once you do that it should be fine. We aren't using that to carry it around it, just put it in the cupboard and store everything on it. I was surprised at how nice of a set it is in real life. My mom said it looks just like an old set she has. We never use the teapot in the microwave or anything, so be prepared to make your tea in something else, and we always hand wash it all. No problems so far! Overall, I would buy this again and I'm glad I chose it over the other tea sets I see on Amazon. I wanted a nice tea set with all the pieces, stand, and wouldn't break the bank.

I bought this set to add an elegant touch to “Tea Time” when family and friends come to visit! I am well pleased with the beautiful design on each piece and the spoons are an added delight. I would recommend this as a gift to anyone who enjoys company and tea!! The handles to the cups are perfect that you don’t touch the cup and burn a finger when tea is hot!! When I did open the package there was a note letting you know that damage could happen through shipping due to the distance it traveled, and I did receive 1 cup with a chip. Their customer service is excellent and their promise to make things right are impeccable!! I received another cup set within 5 days!! Amazing!!Now it’s time for tea!!!!
