Big dial pressure gauge is easy to read. Narrow tube but long throw allows less pumping effort yet fills tires quick enough. The threaded connector to tire-valve is easier to use than lever-type connectors. Instructions could be a little better. The threaded connector has an air pressure release valve button -- a nice feature if you overfill. The threaded connector can be turned by hand or use a special tool in the provided connector slot. Pump stands steady by itself and the long hose easily reaches tire valves regardless of tire position. Pump aesthetics is a bonus.

Over the years, I've been frustrated with a failure of pumps that relied on a lever to seal the pump end to the valve. They inevitably wear, and the seal gets weaker and weaker. Trying to find a replacement O-ring is impossible. I finally change the paradigm with this pump. It screws onto the valve and forms a perfect seal every time. If it ever wears out, the manufacturer sells a replacement part, and so do about 20 or more other manufacturers that are all interchangeable. Super quality. Totally recommend it to anyone.

This is a very high quality pump. However, screwing the pump head onto a presta value is a real chore. While it's less likely to damage the valve than the normal lever chuck, it also requires some effort.

I replaced another pump that had great reviews but was problematic. This one makes it effortless to switch between presta and shrader. Easy to read dial, easy to pump. Great pressure, virtually no leakage. I've owned it for years. I'm so pleased with it.

This is the best bike pump I've ever owned. It's not too expensive, inflates quickly, the feet keep it stable, and it's not too heavy.I think the best feature is the connecting valve that you can flip around so it fits pretty much type of bike valve.

I had to return this pump because turning the knurled knob to screw the head of the pump into both Presta and Schrader valves was extremely difficult. It was not only difficult to get on, but it was equally difficult to get off and thus I lost 10~15psi when, after removing the head, I checked it with a good pressure gauge. Perhaps the pump I received was not to specs? Whatever the case, It just should not be that difficult to get on/off. Be forewarned.

Updated now that I"m going on 5 years. This pump is still working great. Love it!.This pump works very well. The large, easy-to-read dial was a bonus, and a huge help. The screw-on valve attachment might put some people off, but I think it works very well and forms a nice, solid connection. You just need to get used to it. I'm using this on road bike racing wheels with latex tubes, which don't hold air much longer than a day, and this pump is working great. It feels solid with the foot braces on the floor and the handle is fairly large, making it easy to pump. Extremely pleased with this purchase and the price.
