Love this OIl! Quick Results
So, I just started my loc hair journey and my loctician mentioned how she uses batana oil in her hair, along with others. But batana being the main one. So I decided to give it a try. Everything I read about it spoke about how concentrated it is, and it should be mixed with a carrier oil, or used sparingly. I already had my own combination of oils that I mixed to treat my scalp, and decided to add a few drops of this batana oil to it, and the results have been amazing. My combination of oils were cococnut oil infused with aloe vera, vitamin E, rosehip oil, tea tree essential oil, and rosemary essential oil, to which I added neem oil and the batana oil recently. The differences I've observed, is that I have a significant reduction in the dry flakes on my scalp, and very short areas of my hair grew at least an inch in the space of 2 weeks or less. I know it's the batana oil that made the huge difference because I previously used neem oil as the main oil, and while I saw results, it was over a longer time.Additionally, I would occasionally pour a small amount of batana oil in my hand and rub it all over my hair to keep it hydrated. The growth is very noticeable especially for the short time I've been using it.Another benefit I found in my research to address my hyperpigmentation in my face, is that batana oil can be used but again is very small amounts to avoid staining etc. It's apparently best used along with your face products, so I use a drop or 2 of it along with my tumeric face soap (bar soap) or Neutrogena face scrub when lathering, and the results? Also amazing. I've noticed that my skin tone in my face has started to slowly even out. And I only do this this once per day like 2 - 3 days per week.I must add though, I have also been drinking tumeric and ginger infused water, and berry infused water (i.e., raspberry, blueberry, blackberry). But I was drinking those before I started using the batana oil. I also moisturize with unrefined shea butter after washing my face. These may be adding to the clearer appearance of my face. I'm not sure. But I started drinking those for weight loss purpose. All in all, the batana oil has multiple benefits It has a smooth texture but has some thickness to the oil, so it defintely spreads better when used with something else. The scent is not the best, but it's not terrible, similar to castor oil for both consistency and scent.

Great formula+applicators for thick hair
This liquid Batana oil formulation, with the 2 applicators-a precision top and a comb-syringe tip- is particularly good for thick hair, as the tips and the consistency help you get this to your roots. (It also works for those with thin hair, but special tips aren't as necessary to get the oil to your scalp if your hair is thin!)The Batana oil really seems to work wonders! Apply, leave it in for anywhere from 30min to a few hours, then shampoo and condition as normal. I thought at first shampooing would strip the oil and its effects right off the hair, but no! My hair was left silky smooth, and soft! Ok, my grandmother complained of course hair, so she tried it on her hair. Again, silky soft, manageable hair! Her results were even more dramatic than mine, probably because her hair was a lot more course and unruly than mine before treatment. Batana oil really seems to help make hair soft and supple, with fewer flyaways and frizz, without over-moisturizing and without leaving it greasy (after washing). I'm quite impressed!

Interesting smell
The product has a very interesting scent - earthy with a slight coconut oil finish. It isn't unpleasant, but it takes some getting used to. It is concentrated so you don't need more than a few drops if you're using it on its own. Read the packaging as it can be added to your other hair products as well.

Amazing hair oil
I love this hair oil! I started using it while I was on vacation, visiting Florida. My hair before using it was very poopy and dry and then I started using this banana oil, and it really took away my frizz and gave me a better hairstyle. I can mix it with my Conditioner or mix it with a carrier oil like avocado oil and it makes my hair look absolutely amazing. I also like to mix it with a carrier oil and massage it into my scalp which also feels really nice. I don’t know how I ever lived without this stuff. And I think it’s a very high-quality product . All the jazz about oil is true. It solves a lot of hair issues. I just have to make sure I don’t put too much in before I go out. I really like this product in particular because it’s super easy to mix with other products such as conditioners, hair oils, and hair mask. It does have a certain smell, which is not unpleasant but a little Different. Once I mix it with products I don’t smell it anymore. It’s a thicker oil and definitely needs to be mixed with either conditioner or a carrier oil that is lighter.

Works well!
Truth be told, I ordered this particular set because I like its dispenser. Using the applicator will enable me to apply oil to my scalp more quickly and evenly. I could use it even after this product is completely used up. I also appreciate this particular brand because it is 100% natural, it is cold-pressed, unrefined, and organic, and it retains the banana scent that I grew to love. It is something I could confidently use. It is lightweight and helps soften the texture of my dry hair. I'm glad I placed this order. Thank you.

Smells like popcorn oil
I would not recommend this product. It smells exactly like popcorn grease or oil from popcorn. The different tools that come with the bottle drip everywhere. I ended up pouring the oil into another empty oil bottle that I had. I am writing this review so that someone else doesn’t make the same mistake I made. I finally purchased another Batana oil 100% raw from another company and it smelled so good and clean, nothing like this one.
