Not 'invincible' but pretty tough
This will certainly be pretty indestructable for moderate chewers, but my pit has a personal vendetta against all squeakers, and he had chewed a hole through the middle section and murdered the 'invincible' squeaker within 5 minutes. It is possible that the squeaker is just full of Clyde spit right now and will commence squeaking when it eventually dries out (that's happened with a different toy), but for now, he's happily killing the other two squeakers as I type. He's also got most of one leg off, but I didn't expect those to last long, as they are not made of the same fire hose material as the body. NBD. Most of the vinyl decals have already come off too, but again, very reasonable with a super chewer. I buy Clyde toys expressly for him to destroy. This one will last longer than most, just maybe not with squeakers intact. ;-). UPDATED TO ADD: photo after half a day. Nearly all surface decoration is gone, and all three squeakers are thoroughly dead, BUT, he has not managed to actually chew the squeakers out of the toy. The material is holding up very well to the onslaught, and I think Clyde will continue to enjoy gnawing on this for a long time.

If you want to watch your dog get mad they can’t destroy something, buy this!
My dogs are mega destroyers. As in, they enjoy chewing up empty soda cans and other equally painful items. So far, we’ve only found three toys that have survived their tornado of destruction. 1. Another fire hose toy, but it basically is just a length of hose that is stuffed. Boring. 2. Kong makes a hard rubber braided tug toy with round knobs on each end. They love it, but it WILL bruise you if they swing it hard and hit you, and it’s resemblance to a bedroom toy is uncanny. 3. This fire hose toy by Outward Hound. The only complaint I have is that we don’t have another! I enjoy sitting with coffee in the morning and watching them determinedly try to chew pieces off of it with great failure, much to their furry dismay. Get this toy. It’s not overly squeaky and it lasts! In case you wonder if I’m talking about my super chewers and failing to mention their breed because they’re Pomeranians or something, they are southern rescues. I can’t tell you exactly what breed one is, she’s a bit of a casserole of dog breeds. However there is definitely pit Bull and obsessive compulsive disorder in the mix. The other is a Boxer and Lab mix who eats drywall like it’s Wheaties. You want this for your super chewers, you can trust me!

Not suitable for powerful puppy chewers
This toy didn’t last 15 minutes. Duke, my 1 year old mastiff mix puppy, has the fire hose with stuffing and squeaker that has held up for months, so I got him this toy since it was also fire hose and made by same company. He tore off one leg in a few seconds, so I cut off the other three before he could tear those off and swallow the nylon fabric. He then ripped a couple of chunks out of the face and tail. He discovered the squeakers after he lost interest in total annihilation......maybe I should have squeaked it a few times to get his attention to the noise instead of allowing him to focus on destruction as soon as he got his jaws and paws on it. It wasn’t that expensive, so I might try it again once he’s out of the puppy destruction phase. For now, we’ll go back to the basic red rectangle fire hose toy.

The ONLY Toy My Dog Has Not Shredded!
I have a few Outward Hound dog toys for my standard poodle puppy who chews through everything. She has powerful jaws and has chewed through every "normal" toy she has had since we got her, plus a host of leashes, harnesses, seat belts and various power attachments in my car when she has been riding along!! This toy, along with a green snake we got her, are the only surviving toys that have not been gutted, de-squeaked and torn to shreds!! This snake has no stuffing and is made of heavy duty fire hose which seems invincible to even her chewing! It has squeakers in every segment which is wonderful as she loves squeakers. The only thing I can even minorly complain about, is the toy is heavy to throw. Of course it would be since its made of fire hose, but you can't fling it very far for playing fetch! It thuds when it hits the floor but she still loves playing with it and I love the fact that it hasn't been torn apart or there hasn't been stuffing laying all over the house! If you have a larger dog or a dog with strong chewing tendencies, I think you will not be disappointed in this toy!! It truly does seem invincible! If this review has helped you in any way, please hit yes at the end of the review!

Frrreal tough--I love this toy & bought another for when it dies. Which will be awhile!
This is the only one of at least 20 supposedly tough toys I've bought that has lasted more than a day or a week with Oba (aka Jaws), and it's fantastic for tug-of-war and fetch, both. I got a big one, so our all-mouth pit bull's teeth are far enough away from my hand that I don't fear an accidental chomp. It's nicely balanced so it throws well end-to-end. And all four squeakers are still going strong for a little added fun and motivation. After 6 weeks, there are a few little frayed and worn spots, but it's not anywhere near falling apart. FINALLY, an ACTUALLY TOUGH toy! (Oba doesn't sit with it for long stretches and TRY to tear it apart. If your dog does that, less confidence in the lifespan of the toy is warranted.)

This is a GREAT toy for a plushie destroyer
This is my second Outward Hound Fire hose Dog Squeaker. The other one was a few years old and i kept it around after my old dog Molly passed away. I got another small pup that loves to chew through toys and destroy squeakers. I had the previous Fire Hose Lizard in the backyard for a good 6 months before Tinker destroyed every layer and shew through to kill the squeakers. If you know Tinker, you'd know that she plays hard and tough and will spend time chewing the layers in her free time. She ate through a black (tough) KONG and bit it in half. Tinker doesn't play around (well, you know what I mean! She's serious about toy!) That last Lizard Fire Hose lasted for so long through 2 big chewers. I have had this new Lizard Fire hose outside for over a week and it still looks almost brand new (she has ripped a bit of a leg) but for the most part, this toy is very durable and very tough. Well worth the $9-10 considering it's longevity and ability to just stay outside in the rain, sunshine, and snow. I highly recommend and when she kills this one, I will buy another one!

Its ok
The order arrived earlier then estimated delivery time which is a great bonus. Dimensions were mentioned on the product description but Just to let you know that it is a big toy, it might be too big for a small breed dog. This is a chew durable toy however the yellow prints on the toy peals off easily. Fabric is not dense enough and the weave seems slightly loose, any dog can tuck the teeth in to it.My dog already pealed most of the print and managed to chew the legs and edges of the lizard.if your god likes shewing its toys i believe this product may not be suitable.

Fun and a good size
Our young collie manages to destroy most toys within a couple of days often less. So far this one has lasted well, only lost one leg, partial amputation of two others and the stick on features are a goner. It’s not her first go too toy but good for a game of thyroid provided you keep your hands clear if the sharp bits.

Fire hose dragon 2 squeaker.
Our 3 year old Staffy had all 4 legs pulled off in no time at all. He has had great fun with this toy, he loves the squeaks. He found the weak spot where the legs had been attached and now after just half a day he has managed to tear a hole in the material and pull out one of the squeakers. The second squeaker doesn't squeak anymore so not urgent for our dog to tear it out yet- but he will. Very disappointed with this toy, thought it would last at least more than a day. I've bought £2.49 squeaky toys that have lasted as long.

Collie killed it quickly!
to be fair, we have one that lived quite happily with our first collie, but then we got a second collie, who is a chewer. She murdered the original one and is well on her way with the second! But at least I don't think it will do her much harm as she likes to eat what she kills!

Disappointing Toy
Bought this toy for my 18 week Labrador puppy, only received item today and within 10 minutes of giving him the toy he had the front leg nearly chewed through. This is not what I expected from the toy as toy is for large dogs very disappointed.
