I received this watch 18 days ago and I love it. The watch is beautiful and easy to read, the day and date are really simple to set, and it is really accurate. Over 18 days, it has literally kept perfect time remaining within 1 second of the original set time. That is quite an accomplishment for a $15 dollar watch. Further, the band is very supple and comfortable to wear and I find the appearance to look classy, just like the watch itself. I read one review about the day/date being tricky to set initially, but it is simple, just pull out the stem to the half way point and twist one way for day, the other for date, (go for the day before the actual date, then pull the stem out all the way to move forward to the next day setting the correct AM or PM time and you have it).Another nice thing about the watch is when setting the time, the hands are stable and do not move around like some other cheap watches tend to do, which can be frustrating for us compulsive types that want the marks and time to be perfect. The face is aligned well, the hands move accurately, it looks great, it keeps perfect time, it is comfortable and even has the battery type stamped on the back. What more could you ask for with an inexpensive watch? Oh-and it is alleged to be water proof, though I am not going to test that out as I really like this watch. Hopefully it will last a few years, but even if only for a year or two, it is a bargain at this price point. I should mention that I did not receive this watch at any discount to review it, I just felt compelled as this is a product that has really delivered. A huge 5 stars!

Usually I avoid gold plated watches, but this watch is an exception. The plate is done well and good gold color. The dial is easy to read and day/ date stands out. The domed crystal is slightly raised and plays with the light as it falls on watch face. Classic! This is my favorite Skmei and I have a few. Skmei makes nice watches.Update: 9/18/19.I like this watch so much that I ordered same watch in silvertone. I got the silvertone on EBay.

So far after one week, I have no complaints, especially given the sale price of $15.99 with Prime free shipping. Other reviewers have complained that the band is too small or there is an odor. Neither is true of the watch I received. The band size is more than adequate unless perhaps you are the giant from Jack and the Beanstalk. I detect no odor from the real leather band and can only conclude that the odor came from the wearer's wrist! So far the watch keeps perfectly accurate time. The only minor problem I had was with the "day" indicator of the calendar which I was eventually able to adjust, however, while the date changes at midnight, the day name, takes longer, however, by morning it is ok. Finally, there was a complaint that without instructions it is difficult to set the day and date. In actuality you change them the same as any other calendar watch I have had. Pull the stem to first "stop" and then turn clockwise and counter clockwise. Lastly the watch is attractive with a crystal clear view of the face. I of course reserve the right to modify this review if any problems occur at a later time.

I bought this watch in June 2018. Overall, it's a good watch and good value for the money. I've gotten compliments on it, and it isn't flashy or showy, just a decent looking watch. However, after about a year, condensation started getting under the cover. Wouldn't always stay there, but was noticeable. Then after about a year and two months, the second hand started getting stuck, and finally stopped working. I'm still buying another one, since it is a good value for what you get, but be warned that this is a case where you get what you pay for.

This is exactly what I was looking for in an affordable men's wrist watch. It keeps very accurate time and has the day of the week and the day of the month, side-by-side on the right side of the clock face. The only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 star rating was that it came in the mail with no instructions on how to set the day/date function . Fortunately, other customers who had encountered the same problem, explained how they learned, by pulling out the knob & turning it both directions to set the day/date. The manufacturer should have enclosed the instructions to do that! How much would a small instruction sheet cost the manufacturer anyway?

I only have one criticism of this watch. Since it is a quartz, I don't know why it must sit as high as it does. A slimmer profile is entirely possible and would be better. That said, I love everything else about it. The face is absolutely beautiful. I've always loved the tapered beveled hands on a watch as well as the hour markings. Gives a beautiful glint. It's like the design in the 50s typical of a Hamilton. Only time will tell if the finish holds up. An Orkina I really liked turned green on me, hope this one doesn't. While activating the movement, it felt very solid, yet smooth. If the finish doesn't turn color or bubble up on me, this will definitely be in my top three watches, and I have several.

Beautiful watch. Unfortunately it arrived with a dead battery so it cost me money and hassle to go out and buy a new one. I could have just picked up a similar new watch at Walmart for the same price.

This watch does a excellent job on keeping time. It's not as fast as digital watch. At the stroke of midnight the calendar part is correct for that day.By 8:o'clock the next morning this watch is correct on the calender and what day it is. All in all a very good watch for a man to own as a dress watch. Mick
