I was a 22 year ICU RN and this is the exact "voldyne" volumetric we used in the hospital. Same company. Looks exactly the same. I am using it for breathing exercises. Just remember one thing: you do not blow into it for any reason. You blow all air out of your lungs then suck in continuously and steadily, trying to keep the ball at the highest level you can maintain. It WILL make you cough. It measures tidal volume and reserve capacity but it's main use is as a lung "exerciser". But, never take anyone's opinions/instructions from on the internet unless you are positive of their veracity and qualifications. Ask your PCP/PCM/Family MD.

I got this for my mother to use for fluid buildup in her lungs. She was on a fluid pill that made her weak and feel bad. Now she uses this twice a day and doesn't need the fluid pill. Her doctor was very pleased. My mother has diabetes, heart disease, heart valve replacement and is 82. For now this enables her not to take even more medication that makes her feel awful. I am so grateful for that.

I bought these in preparation for possible Covid infection for myself and my family. They are the same products we use in the trauma hospital I work at. A family member tested positive for Covid recently and used this. She staved off a lot of the respiratory complications having this on hand to use. Highly recommended! If you’re not familiar with it, use it every hour you’re awake and do a session of at least 10. It’ll strengthen your lung sacs:) Stay safe everyone:)

This is pretty much what I had in the hospital when i first experienced and used this (after open-heart surgery). I thought it was wonderful. I was released from the hospital on 10/16 after pneumonia and could not find the Incentive Spirometer I'd brought home with me , so I went to Amazon looking.Behold....there it was from Wholesale 365 with the same brand name I remember on the one I had before.Arrived a bit sooner than I'd expected, but I appreciate that.Wonderful...just wonderful

Exactly what we needed. My daughters both have asthma and severe seasonal allergies and my husband is a disabled veteran who has had consistent lung/breathing issues after several deployments. I have been trying to think of ways to help them strengthen their lungs. I remembered this device that I used after I hemorrhaged a few years ago. The hospital made me use it as I had fluid in my lungs. I searched on Amazon and found the exact same medical deveice here. This may not be the right way to "strengthen" one's lungs (if that's even a thing at all) however, I decided it wouldn't hurt to try.First of all the customer service we experienced has been fantastic. We had to communicate with Vitality Medical after we made our order and the representative was extremely helpful and kind. I would order from them again based on that experience alone.As far as the devices go we now have (4) total and they are all exactly what I needed. The devices have no defects or issues at all. We have been using them daily and it has helped TREMENDOUSLY. It truly has made a difference for us. Make sure you clean the blue piece with warm water and mild soap before first use and try to use it every day if you can. We made a ritual of using them in the morning when allergies seems to be the worst for us. And now we find ourselves using them off and on throughout the day. Bottom line Product is as described and exactly what we were looking for and seller is quick to respond and very helpful and courteous!! Would recommend.

Because the C-Virus affects your lungs so badly and I'm 74, healthy but still old LOL, my doc suggested I get one of these and practice every day to build up my breathing capacity. I've always been a shallow breather. I've used it daily for several weeks now and it really did the job. 10 stars for this product and for the seller. In this crazy time of slow mail this item came quickly. Thanks so much.
